Just realized 18 year old Tyler's decisions had an effect on everyone around him, these now adults can thank a teenager for where they are right now financially
sheesh, as popular / infamous as Odd Future was at the time, most of the OF members are criminally underrated. Domo dropped No Idols with Alchemist for crying out loud… not to mention Hodgy’s Fireplace, Entitled… or Mike G’s Verses II mixtape which was a blast to listen to.
dude this interview made me go back on reflect on Mellowhype’s YelloWhite mixtape. As a 13 year old with very limited musical scope it was easy to be drawn to their music & energy; but at the same time I wasn’t experienced enough to fully appreciate how unique & beautiful their music was until I am the age I am now, 22!
@@Lurkartiist Literally was just listening to Mellowhype. Thought to myself where the fuck is Hodgyyyyyy, investigated and here I am. Really wish the dude would have got out of his own way.
Hodgy definitely had a rough go of it. Him and Tyler are like two sides of the same coin. I can relate to his struggle and I’m glad he’s beginning to find peace. Its hard to reconcile hurt from the past.
Man I miss hodgy, he was such a chill guy and can rap he ass of too like he was sick but I guess he's mo happier with the trajectory his life and career has taken now
I think time has moved past OF. They were the breakthrough that the culture needed, and it was at the perfect time. We can't recreate something like that. It did what it had to do, and now it's over. However the impact will always remain.

It’s good he’s seeking help. It’s so sad how fast the rap game is. Because Hodgy is mad underrated. Like when he’s on. He’s on. But he sounds like he’s at peace.

Hodgy basically talking about self projection. Hes on his spiritual journey. Only thos who are on their spiritual stuff will know what hes talking about.
I knew there was a deeper meaning why he always resonated with me the most…crazy 10 years ago as a teenager he was my fav simply for his style but we were both far away from a spiritual path…I got on the right path a few years ago ..fast forward today, I’m just now realizing Hodgy is in tune like me..I would’ve never thought that 10 years ago ..crazy how life is

Hodgy is cemented as a legend in my eyes
How is he a legend, because he was apart of a rap group?
