Megadeth's "The Conjuring" on bass - LRRG

- This is one awesome blast of thrash violence, and it is the second Megadeth tune I have ever heard. Back when this album was released, many of us didn't even know what Megadeth sounded like ("Killing is my Business" was not a very well-known album at the time). Boy did we get our lesson when this was released along with the video for "Peace Sells". I tried like hell back in the day to learn some of this album, but it was just too raucous for a nove like me. In fact, I learned "YYZ" long before I learned to pound out a tune like "Bad Omen".....that is Megadeth...raw talent!
So kick back and enjoy the tune and all of the little mistakes I make here and there as well as the added fillage...my standard fare. One of the heaviest Megadeth tunes out there, in my opinion....other than Good Mourning/Black Friday.
Oh yeah...at the end of the video, my wife was staring at me from the kitchen. I had no idea she was watching me until I was about to turn off the camera. I got a heck of a surprise!
i couldn't believe that when i found this vid, the guy had just recently passed away. everytime that i listen to The Conjuring, i will be thinking of you Rob. i especially liked the part at the end where you show that surprised expression towards your wife. it was a fun vid and i enjoyed it. i will try to cherish life as much as possible.

Playing is spot on as always :) Next time though, please lower the volume of the audio, it was clipping and distorting all over. That is all and otherwise I have no criticisms.

So thrash gave you trouble long ago? Maiden, Megadeth, Anthrax, and the like give me trouble more because of the many changes in the songs, not so much because of the speed.

Ohh I see. That makes sense. That song never stuck out as much as the rest of the album did. You have all this thrash metal then a blues rock number... Kinda out of place, its kinda cool though.
