@J J ok mate I didn’t say I thought his lyrics were good I just said that the way he used a lot of metaphors and similes when he talks makes me think that he was always going to be writing something
@J J damn dude. Do you mind writing me a nice lyric or two in the comments show us how its done? I will start. Your opinion was unnecessary. The fucks given were imaginary.
This whole record is overall more of the bright and fun side of the band. It's dancy, it's groovy, it's retro but still has the signature royal blood dirty bass sound. They really are seeing color for the first time. Oblivion and Million and One are two of my favorite non single songs off the record
0:38 - Trouble's Coming 1:59 - Oblivion 3:00 - Typhoons 4:49 - Who Needs Friends 6:30 - Million And One 7:40 - Limbo 9:21 - Either You Want It 10:35 - Boilermaker 13:28 - Mad Visions 14:28 - Hold On 15:22 - All We Have Is Now
Oh, that’s brilliant, “Like a pro wrestler trying to toss salad.” The whole album is like this!!!! Royal Blood are brilliant!!! Serious and buddy funny. So fun and colourful. Yeah, who needs friends. I don’t. I just need Royal Blood.
This album made me fall in love with Royal Blood all over again, it really cemented them as one of my top fave bands of all time. It's just so fucking GOOD.
This album is definitely a grower, I didn't enjoyed that much in the first listening but now I listen to the songs on repeat. Great work, a big step forward. Favourite songs at the moment are Oblivion (reminds me Muse), Million and One, Hold On and All You Have Is Now (BRMC vibes...).
I like the experimentation with this album guys but really hope you go even HEAVIER than your ORIGINAL album next album!! Royal Blood, 1st album was brutal. Can you go heavier? You have proven you can go softer. Now can you be heavier??
What does it mean to "give your knuckles a run for their money"? I couldn't find anything about the meaning and didn't understand :/ (not a native speaker as you can imagine)
Muse changed their sound more after every single album than royal blood did from album 2 to this one, bands make the music they enjoy making, its not "mistake" to do so
@@Ptolomey it’s completely up to them. But going from a QOTSA crossed with early Muse to a dance synth sound it’s definitely not the way to strengthen their career. But as you say it’s totally up to them
@@jaydenstramel562 true to an extent. Successful artists are true to themselves however once they find their sound they aren’t stupid enough to then go........”right screw that well play country instead”
Mike: talking about the construction and creation of their various songs
Ben: 😐
they upped themselves SO MUCH with this record, i didn't think it was possible but they stepped up the game
Guy was born to be a songwriter and lyricist - his normal speech when he’s just explaining things is so poetic in itself

This album is ridiculously good
Literally no filler, I think it's up there as one of my favourite albums of all time.
@@Matt_10203 I feel like tracks like Million And One or Either You Want It could definitely be seen as filler songs

i'd die to be there in the studio and see these guys with homme recording boilermaker, pure history in the making
“a pro-wrestler trying to toss a salad” is literally the best way to describe this gorgeous album!!

THANK YOU 👍❗
Don't forget about bonus track space. It's one of my favorite. Wish I could find an album with one trick pony and king on it.
Mike: blabla rablabla ~ *talking* ~
Ben: ......... ~ *awkwardly looking around* ~

These guys will always have a special place in my heart
The first time I heard Boilermaker I said "this has sort of a Queens Of The Stone Age vibe going on". Now it all makes sense.
I love this album so much now
I wasn't feeling it after Trouble's Coming released, but HOLY MOLY this album blew me away
These guys always knock it out of the park
I love it all... but _Oblivion_ is ridiculous! So is _Boilermaker..._ incredible album! Well worth the wait
This album really had me movin n groovin. 💿👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
am i the only who really loves “who need friends”
Nope. It's my favorite song of the album :D
Naw that song bumps totally underrated
The chorus gets stuck in my head all the time lol I love singing it
@@neroamarou3256 Yeah man, me too :D And btw nice profil pic my fellow guardian :P
Not at all. On of my favourites if not my favourite.
They're always killing it but this album was such a step up! Absolutely can't wait until I can see them live again
This album made me fall in love with Royal Blood all over again, it really cemented them as one of my top fave bands of all time. It's just so fucking GOOD.
all we have is now is probably the best song on the record, so happy they put it on there
So love how they have mixed hard-core rock with shit I can shake my ass to.
Just found these guys in April & impatiently waited for the album whilst listening to all 3 singles...THIS ALBUM FOOKIN COOKS MATE
havent listrened to much of typhoons but used this video to get an impression of it, seems like a solid album

Mike Kerr's Eyes Are Mesmerising. . . .
incredible album!!
I like all your music
It is absolutely awesome! 😊❤️
bens one bad ass drummer
Great video and great album
I can’t say I loved the album, but I definitely appreciate all the work and passion behind it. Especially for All We Have is Now.
Ben is so great interlocutor
I would do anything to hear Dua Lipa feature on a remix of Mad Visions
DUDE THAT WOULD SLAP
Genius love my homeboys
Awesome album not a bad track on it and loving the new dance feel too, a great mix, love it 👍
5:50 if i was ben i will feel bad about mike saying all of that lol
he probably understands
Who Needs Friends sounds like it's super Nine Inch Nails influenced
Please explain cause I don’t even remotely hear it
3:59 is Mike a synesthete? Because same.
....Who's Jerry @15:32 ?
I like the experimentation with this album guys but really hope you go even HEAVIER than your ORIGINAL album next album!!
Royal Blood, 1st album was brutal. Can you go heavier? You have proven you can go softer. Now can you be heavier??
I wonder what happened to "King"
I think its going to be a B side
US Digital Deluxe version. Check the US Store. King is a bonus track on that version, along with Space.
King is now on the deluxe digital version of the album
It’s a b-side I saw it is listed on one is the deluxe things
@@MSparkky yep 👍
Reference the Mars Volta I knew o was gunna like this band
Ben just doesn't shut up does he?
He looked like he'd had a rough night...

The next line is "spider web cracks on the mirror", so I assume he's given that mirror an almighty punch.
@@valwoodhouse353 oh yes that makes sense. thanks!
Mike Kerr it’s been 3 years release space mate
I like song trouble coming
Alternate title: Ben said 7 words
WHY did someone dislike this?
Ben alright?
Jesus..could he be any prettier? Damn
Sussex at it's best !
Limbo
1 dislike. :(
Their are trying so hard to not just say they copied Muse 100%
The mistakes that Muse made later on in their records Royal Blood are making so soon in their career. Oh dear, RIP

But as you say it’s totally up to them
Its not about their career or their legacy it's about the music. True artists only care about what they make not what others think.
