Seth has to be one of the coolest looking fighting game character when he gets going with his mixups, he plays a mixup game like a speed demon just flying around the screen and it’s just so fun to watch at a high level.
I usually dislike Puppet characters, but Chaos just.... idk man... he just freaking works for me. I suck with him... but man, he makes me want to learn a Puppet character, and I cannot state enough how dirty that makes me feel.
I'm new too but he seems like more of a quasi-puppet character in a similar vein to Relius from Blazblue or several Heritage for the Future characters. His puppet is a little more sewn into him so to speak than most full puppeteers.
Good lord people really turn up just to hate on this game. I like it. People like it. At least let the people that play it show up and hate first damn.
gordeau is very cool, but some of the other characters are not to my liking; i thought chaos would be the character i liked the least because even though he himself looks kinda cool i dont like how his summon looks, but akatsuki feels kinda bland and generic another thing that kinda bothers me when i look at the game is how washed it feels, it feels like there is no real impact behind the moves and animations i can definitely see some potential for some of these things to be improved upon but as it stands i feel like it just doesnt quite hit right for me edit: im watching all of it (except for the sets with chaos, sorry) and i must say akatsuki actually has some of the most satisfying hit effects so i kinda like watching him fight now
Tbf before getting into the first game. I felt something off about this game. I don't know why recent 2D fighting game at one point started to impress you then you started to notice some details it's put you off for some reason. I have this problem with Blazeblue the second time I get into the game. In third time I don't have an issue. Even though I had 2D fighting games like Acpr, mbaac and kof13. I don't find the same problem. I would say some background put me off about this game like the swimming pool one because of that Character looks like paper for some reason. Besides, this game seriously helped me deal with input. I always get into the first part even if offline content is less. I even made $tup!d comment about how I end up disliking and find wall combos boring in this game after spending 2 hrs Tns.
I can understand the complaint about character designs, but you aren't watching the same game as everyone else if you think it feels "washed" and has no impact.

Speaking as someone that doesn’t play the game. The gameplay looks like dnf duel the good ending if that makes sense
It's more grounded based like DNF but the system mechanics go way better with it
Speaking as someone who does play the game... this blows DNF out of the water, and is actually fun to play/watch.

This game looked really good for its time 12 years ago, I remember being impressed.
