How's the nightlife? I'm planning on retiring in about two years but wife and I still like to have fun. Go dancing, hanging out with the college students and people in their mid to late 20s. There are plenty of British tourists spending time here in summer, so it’s expected that wait and sales staff be dealing with Anglophones during the high season. Businesses are likely to have at least one person on staff who can speak English at least from June to September, though the help may be seasonal (meaning you can’t count on it year-round).
