I'm glad you love it but I personally disagree with this take. I think MOS is a great action movie but a Terrible Superman Movie and here's why: 1.) Henry Cavill's Superman had the personality of a wooden plank, he barely spoke and when he did it's like Zack Snyder told Henry to act like an emotionless piece of wood. And ironically Cavill acts more like Superman in real life that he does in his Superman movie. 😂 2.) Pa Kent was terrible. He literally tells Clark that he should have just let his classmates die to protect his identity, what kind of a Parent would tell their child that let alone Pa Kent of all people?? 😂 3.) Lois Lane was also terrible. I'm sorry but Amy Adams has absolutely no chemistry with Cavill and for the whole movie and BVS she just keeps trying to get her self killed and Superman has to keep saving her. 🤬

And then there’s the first x-men movie and that tried to be a good movie with a deep message and was ashamed to be sillier and tried to be more mature and edgy but was pretty shallow and unintentionally goofy cuz it makes fun of its origins while being silly but playing it straight. The black leather and stuff isn’t gonna change the fact it’s still a bit ridiculous and them drawing attention to how the origin was dumb when they’re also goofy is stupid. We still are getting superhero movies that are interested in being good, cuz those are the ones breaking the box office every year even when so many are sick of mid movies. Not just superhero movies, movies they think aren’t worth going to the theater for. Wanting them to be more like and trying to make them more like “actual good movies” isn’t any better and sadder than chasing the trend of “MORE CINEMATIC UNIVERSES, MORE SPIN OFFS, MORE SEQUELS, MORE CAMEOS, MORE TEAM UPS, DO IT EVEN IF ITS NOT GOOD” cuz it is something that someone would say if they’re trying to sound smarter and well versed in literature. Dark Knight=S+ Is everything we wanted & more. Batman Begins is A but it is better then the Dark knight rises=B as Bane not being Mexican is just weird for me. Tom Hardy as bane was well done but all the choices by the people in charge just made it flat in my opinion. I could go to B+ but that's my limit. Man of Steel & Batman begins are about par in A though preferred batman begins personally. Superman as a character is very one dimensional which Henry Cavil did a great job considering what the role he had to work with.
