My mother was classically trained soprano and piano. My father more free lance self taught (learned by ear) jazz style..I look to music in several ways...does it make me want to dance with joy? Does it make me feel something deep. Is it speaking truth... So for years I found most rap annoying but so glad people like you , Tom, and a couple others have shown that truth can come in different ways.

As someone who has been proud to not be religious (and still have the same morals and values passed down by my parents), I think we need religion back. Growing up I always questioned "why do you need someone to put fear in you, in order for you to do the right thing? Why not just be a good person because you KNOW its how you are supposed to be?". Later in life I learned that A LOT of families are broken, and how fundamental values are no longer taught at home, religion IS NECESSARY for these people.
