Looking back, it's amazing we were able to mod an RTS game into a Tower Defense game. Admittedly this is a similar game mode, but back then technology and knowledge of modding wasn't where it is today. Some mods started back in the late 2000's and have had updates till recent times. The work the modders put into their mods and the time they can remain committed to their project makes me proud to be a part of the C&C fan community.
Well u can take china inf and make load of mini gunners for air units and nuck cannons for ground, china inf is the best army for aod in all of its types
2 minutes or so. you have to be fast to pump out jarmen kell. 1)press U immediately to get supply and build it, then spam workers (K). 2)Spam barracks on each place with bunker. 3)one barracks do capture and put 2 rebels. 4)when supply done, immediately build war factory (or whatever Junk Dealer it is, hotkey A ) and start spamming quad cannons. 5)Immediately get palace when junk dealer done. Barracks spam and garrison rpg trooper. 6) train Jarmen Kell when palace is done. 7) keep spamming units and prepare some at the back, because technical are fast. If possible let worker build some demo traps in front to kill everything except the king. 8) Jarmen Kell snipe the king. 9) Build whatever you want after this, when ready, kill it.
Usually for AOD, from the map position assignment before you start, there is a position which is quite special (mostly out of map or shown). Always put GLA there, because mostly AOD scripts can only run if the AI is GLA. However, some of the AOD requires real players also to even start.

Its hard to land a hit with SW patriot due to point laser defense on the paladins and king raptors
The snipe king is jarmen Kell and the black hawks are comanches

How do you get aod to work ? I have loaded up this map in skirmish mode but the scripting does not seem to work, nothing happens.
