    Ugh! Seeing that barbed wire wrapped around the mulcher drum was painful. Seems it didn't do any damage to the implement, so that's good. Never had barbed wire be the culprit myself, but about 50' of 3/16" cable and a brushhog deck got me once. Keep it up. Love watching you get things done!

    Cedar are hard wood. The reason the wrap up is because of the mulcher you have. It doesn’t have the depth gauge bands, so those shanks just bite. And I highly suggest you get the Fecon hydro cooler attachment. That machine isn’t made to handle that continuous flow and heat.

    If you change to the knives on the mulcher you will see a big difference in the mulch and the way it will cut and it’s so much better. The k Ives take much less energy to mulch than the ones your running

    Now you need to add a mini-ex with brush trimmer and you can be a full service tree removal and trimming company.

    You can only burn cedar trees in an outdoor fir r or fire pit. You cannot burn this in a fire place due to the sap in the wood. Thesap can cause a chimney fire.

    So hay stays hay when it’s wrapped because of how dry it is? So if the grass is baled and wrapped while still “wet”, it will ferment into silage?

      It’s a property that is completely unusable because the trees are so dense. The landowner wants to get it usable again.

    Maybe I'm wrong, but, that seems to be some decent firewood gone to waste. Maybe there's more to it than I think but it seems to me that someone that burns would have liked that wood (after it dries) and would have taken it for free. The landowner could then hire you to mulch the stumps and left behind rubble.

    Thats a great duo. Smart way to use for the big investments. Save your back and consider electric gate openers. How are the locating id esr tags working? Its time to consider finishing cattle for direct sale in coop with this'll do farm iowa pork producer. Get top $$ and a retail commission 10%. Cole blazed 6 fat open cows out in 24 hours. Worth the trailer haul to Iowa. Suggest a family pack including pork, beef, and your merch. 100 hats trade retail for retail meats for home cookout events. They ship from freezer facilities. You would be a great rotational beef source as you bring sales for also pork. Do a channel collab farm visits. Become a fair middle man vs the packer monopolies.

      The trees shade the ground from receiving sunlight and reduce the production of foliage by half.

    • @HowFarmsWork
      @HowFarmsWork  11 місяців тому +3

      Not at all. They’ll decompose just the same as the rest. I wouldn’t just mulch them in drier areas. Decompose even faster if you push them up and burn the mulch.
