    My friend of over 30 years passed away a few weeks ago at only 53 years old. We would send one another music all the time. He sent this song to me just days before his passing. It now takes on a whole different meaning. I’ve listened to it probably a thousand times since that day.

      I’m sorry for your loss. I’m glad you got to discover something that brings you positive feelings and memories from that longtime friend, though!
      It’s difficult to feel that way but it’s nice to remember they’re always there.

  • @tavomomo

    To the people saying that the drumming was stolen from 15 Step by Radiohead. As a hardcore Radiohead fan, I am here to disprove this. The tempo for this song is 6/4, while 15 step is 5/4. It just wouldn't fit. This song has its influences, but its a straight original. I applaud Grizzly Bear for making my day.

    • @flippensweet3
      @flippensweet3 4 роки тому +9

      True, you can't steal anything in music excluding lyrics because a song can never be played the same ever, there will be a audible microscopic difference in every note ever played ever.. the only reason it sounds the same is because the human ear doesn't know the difference.

    Will you move on again?
    See that time to flee again
    You always make it alright
    Is that the way it is?
    Let's get along again
    You know your move around the bend
    Why is that the way it is?
    The morning only showed
    I wanna show you my bad side
    I wanna be the guy who's right
    I want you to see things clearly
    I wanna make it alright
    Don't you be so reasoned
    Don't you know that I can make it better?
    Don't you ever leave me
    Don't you feel it all come together?

    • @eagleWarrior839
      @eagleWarrior839 7 років тому +5

      I don't think so. The band is pointing in another direction and raising the bar for creativity as itself takes over a complete change in sound character. This often comes with cultivated frowns and misunderstood judgements by the critique - we all know that or have seen it coming.
      As far as my opinion is any concern, i think this song lives up to its expectations and is a good jam, even though not necessarily great, or anything. Like listening to it, but it does not leave me jaw dropped...I've honestly listened to many other masterful - and still true-to-itself - jams over the years.
      End remark: people's desperate longing for new Grizzly-bear has probably made them dull and embracing any okay material the bad puts out.
