- Picked up this iPhone 4 for a total of $17. The eBay seller thought it was iCloud Locked as they couldn't set it up.

Hahaha that’s true. Also, no, iCloud Lock DID exist in iOS 5. It just had to be done another way. How do you lock iOS 5/6?
Go to Find My iPhone. Erase the device. Once erased, the phone will need to have the password entered to reactivate it. It just works differently, but yes, it still exists. Although you can’t lock it through iTunes like you can now.

Hey Hugh. I recently bought an iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.1 and an iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1. The iOS 5 iPhone came but as i recently bought it, the iOS 4 iPhone hasn’t come yet. The iPhone 4 iOS 5.0.1 has already been activated by my mum but I will have to activate the iOS 4 iPhone because I think I could probably activate it using iTunes 10.5.3.3 and Windows 7. Anyways. I hope you enjoy that you have an iOS 4 device in your collection. It’s seems pretty awesome to find an iPhone 4 on its original version especially for that cheap for me the iOS 4 iPhone costed £33.48 but it seems like you got this iPhone for really cheap. Pretty cool for an iPhone 4.

Thats the same iOS that my 2nd gen ipod touch runs thats from 2008 and is also the highest it supports. I don't really use it much for online stuff, but mainly just for listening to music I have downloaded, and it also still holds a charge all day, so I can still use it today.

Got a Password Locked iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.1 and a Password Locked iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1.1 in a phone lot I got for 15£. Dumped the SHSH blobs and freshly restored them.

The problem with these phones is that you can get them extremly cheap but the shiping is like 34-50$
So you Know you can downgrade iPhone 4s to iOS 6 would that remove iCloud ?
