Im doing a school project on rollercoasters and im going to make a miniature model of one but im have trouble with the theme. I found that watching rct3 and planet coaster videos give me some ideas on themes. when i started watching your videos i was instantly hooked. you make great videos😀
Just a suggestion for animatronics, but you could use the regular pirate animatronics with a blue ambient light under them to make them look like ghost pirates. Fantastic content as as always! :)
Great stuff, I love it! I think the jail needs beds in the cells, and something resembling chains maybe (drawbridge? rope?), and some horrible drains with puke-green mist. A slightly broken wall would be good, like a thwarted escape attempt. And then maybe just some wall detail, like buttresses or balcony supports to add some layering.
Just binged all of these episodes. You have a great voice and canter, love this series! Now to figure out what to do with my life. Play the game myself maybe?

Oh yes, I hear ya with the undeground building... you scroll out a bit too far and you have to find the entrance of the tunnel again and scroll all through haha. Nice idea with the stalagmites/tites. For the jail area I sadly don't have that one great idea, I would probably fill some spots up with "leftover/forgotten" wooden parts and such...or maybe a "guards-place", a campfire with some benches/tables near.
Suggestion for the jail cell: one of the two cell doors could be half raised and sitting on something (cannon, barrel), like it was placed there to stop the portcullis coming down, that way the two doors look different.

I don't think there is much more you could do with that area though besides putting down some guard animatronics. It would be awesome to have jail cells all along the tunnel with hands grasping at the guests on the ride through the bars, but I doubt that's possible.

Nice build so far, can't wait to see the rest. I loved doing rides underground back in the day, but the lighting was an issue as it was dark. However I've noticed that if you press "L" now, you get a camera torch - not sure when that came in, but would have been useful 12 months ago!
maybe you could add some stocks behind the jail doors or maybe some fire effects similar to how the pirates of the carribean jail is burned down on one side
This already looks amazing! I love the tunnel entrance with the green lighting. Is it maybe possible to place a skeleton in one of the jail cells so you can just see a hand through the fog? That would make it a little bit creepier. I really like the abandoned jail idea without any living pirates ;) - Laura

ALSO, re the boat on top? Maybe a couple of oddly-angled waterspouts (small ones) to show it 'springing a leak" even up there? (PS--I wont' be able to get out to the park for that video until midweek the week AFTER this week upcoming--I.E. sometime between the 13th and 17th, so if you need to finish the park stuff first and have my video as a later supplement, please do. Sorry to hang you up, but real life intrudes :) )
Also I have a suggestion I heard you can make a ghost by putting down a person animatronic and if you shine a white light on it it will become flush and ghost like I have not tried it out my self but if you could get it to work I bet it would look amazing

Maybe I missed it, but did you update the jail area with the modular skeleton pieces from the DLC? I checked the wiki today and it look like they've been added since you made this video :)
I really dislike how hard it can be to hid the flume in the game, and it's the same with the water rapids ride, and you see it happening in this video. The game artificially clears ground further around the flume and really makes it stick out from the environment. I wish there were a way to sink the flume into the ground where it is no longer visible.

For guards for the jail - use the Redcoats- I think they are actually labelled Red Coat Guard

Great piece again and for the jails you could add straw on the floor, ropes / cables and use the figures with no animation. Boxes and case as fillers

Could you set up a trigger in the jail area? So a ominous sound plays and the fog forms when the boat enters.

POTC is not a log flume. It's a themed dark water ride with a drop or two. The drops aren't even that freaking big
