That's quit an impressive collection! The gasoline tanker trailer actually is a Micro Machine, it's part of the Semi Truck Collections released in 1989. The chrome wheels where just something new that Galoob tried for their new line of trucks. And the LGT cars actually are Micro Machines too, LGT just stands for Lewis Galoob Toys, and of coarse, Galoob is the company that manufactured Micro Machines. And if you ever can't find the print on a vehicle, inspect the whole thing. Sometimes Galoob put their information in weird places on the vehicle.
Some excellent info there from someone who is clearly an MM specialist, really appreciate the comment. Will be looking into a new video soon. Stay tuned. :)
Hi Micro fans. Thanks to Nicholas, Gooper, Teddycus and Simon's positive comments, I have decided to publish another video. The quality of the videos might not be all that good in the beginning, but as I mentioned in the first video, I have big ideas for what this channel could potentially become and the type of projects and themes that could be explored relating mainly to MicroMachines. If the channel receives enough attention, I could consider investing in a proper camera and more customisation equipment (paints, tools, magnifying lenses, etc.) and spend more time on editing the videos. I am currently working on a repair / customisation job on a black Pontiac as an introduction to one of the types of themes that I have in mind for future videos. Keep the comments coming and keep revving those Micros if you would like to see more. ;)
MicroMan That's awesome to here! I'd love to see more videos from your channel. And pretty soon I'll be making my own Micro Machines video. My collection is around 130 vehicles now!
Jeez these are priceless, I wish I was born when these were made to collect I’ll have to stick to Tonka tinys, driven pocket series, and worlds smallest hot wheels
I would really like to know where my childhood collection of Micro Machines is I had loads and only searched this video because I wanted to show my son what Micro Machines are. This brings md right back to a super fun time in my life. Imma have words with my mum. I noticed the ones in this video that I had.
I remember as a child I was quite odd. Buses, trucks and cars for Hot Wheels and Micro Machines were never scaled properly. The trucks and buses always seem too small for both so I used to take the buses and Trucks from Hot Wheels and match them up with the Micro Machines cars so that the scale of the vehicles matched each other more correctly. I was so picky. Lol
Hahaha, yeah, sounds familiar. Also, the troops from the "Micro Machines Military" series were way too big for the vehicles (even though the Military series vehicles were larger than the regular MMs. The troops were however ideal for Hot Wheels/Matchbox scale vehicles. Pity I gave all those away when I left South Africa.
Nice video. I still have a few of them. The white Countach and the 57 blue corvette are my favorites. I always wanted the air carrier. Saludos desde México
Nice collection, I see a few of the ones that I have including the presidential limo. I have a few semi trucks with trailers including the STP truck and the Bill Elliott racing team
Yeah, Micro Machines actually made several "Micro Machines Military" series (at least 3 or 4 as I recall). They were larger than the regular Micro Machines but were definitely still in the Galoob era (before Hasbro wrecked the whole Micro Machines brand by turning them into full-plastic imprecise kiddie toys). They were extremely good quality and there were 2 opposing forces, the Freedom Force with green camo & the Terror Troops with blue camo. I had the entire 1st series (I think the only guy in South Africa). Unfortunately I gave them away before I left South Africa more than 10 years ago and assume there is not much left of them now. :"
Wow, excellent. Send some photos. I am playing with the idea of building a dedicated website around this channel and MicroMachines in general if enough people are interested in this.
Thanks a lot for the reply, man, your interest and support motivates me to get back into this channel. I did actually do a video on a restoration, but it was so unclear that I decided not to upload it. However, I did just get a new camera and will be testing it for the next video soon! Stay tuned. :)
MicroMan I watch a lot of videos of hot wheels restauration but have not seen a channel doing micro machines restauration. Hope to see one soon though wink wink.
@@TheGrootmeesterjan Yep, will get back to the restoration videos soon (I hope). By the way, what would you guys think of a Patreon page for this kind of thing?
Maureen Farrell I heard somewhere they are still available in the UK, but besides that I’m pretty sure the only stores you can find them in is probably like personal owned shops that sell that type of stuff
The one you said is missing the entire body at 1:36 is the NASA Lunar Rover, part of a moon-landing collection from 1989. It's supposed to look like that. What it's missing is the instrumentation on it, like the radar dish.
Ah, nice comment. Thanks man. I never got to see them back in South Africa and didn't know I had one either. Thanks a lot for the info, perhaps I can find the others some day. :)
check out hot wheels planet micro and atomix they are micro machine scale and just as good quality even roll a little better. the only downfall is lack of them to collect.
Hi there. For the right price, I could consider parting with it (or most of it). Would have to think about it though, haha. Make an offer if you like. :)
Dang that beats my measly collection of micro machines of 2

I want all the micro machines.
Haha, I may be persuaded to part with some of them... MAYBE :D
I really like the thunder bird
Yeah, one of my favourites too. :)
Lol I still have some of the old ones somewhere in my room.
Haha, that's cool. Wish I could see them! If I were in America, I would have a whole room full of MMs (had to import this collection in stages)! :D
These things were my sons favorite growing up. Can they only be bought online now?

If only your focusing skills were impressive as your collection.
Haha, yeah, sorry, was using an ancient Samsung Note 3 with a custom OS for the first video, so camera not focusing very well.
Me ne dai una o due.
You can give me 10 micro machines car
For some strange reason when I watch this Micro Machine video, I have the sudden urge to put it at 2x speed... 🤔
