- Manny being Manny from cutting off Damon, inciting bench clearing brawls, walking into the Monster, he was, and is, an original. His antics sometimes overshadowed what a great hitter he was including most home runs in postseason history, 165 RBI's in a season and a member of the 500 HR club.
Manny was so far above and beyond the few boneheaded plays that get focused on. He is one of the greatest hitters ever. A true natural with the smoothest right handed swing that I have seen. The guy was a great ball player, and he was a huge part of the Red Sox breaking the curse with his consistent high level of play. I am not a Red Sox fan, just a baseball fan. If he had whipped Roger Clemens then he would have been my all time favorite player.
Same here; I am not a Red Sox fan though I was a kid and a young adult. he was a great hitter as you say. LikeTed Williams though he was pretty one dimensional as a player, but both were such great hitters it didn't matter. Those Red Sox teams he was on were so fun to watch.
The guy is basically a turorial for the mechanics of hitting.. The guy was sick! Sprayed the field hit for average, can put his foot in a bucket and still hitoutto the opposite field. So consistent for so long.
Absolutely love how he just drops the bat behind him sometimes before he’s even fully followed through and finished the swing. What a legend. Will miss seeing him play forever
He was a lot of fun to watch playing... a true original.
2nd best hr swing ever behind griffey jr
I'm with you on Griffey Jr.; his swing was pure poetry.
On'ry Waymore amen to that
I got to disagree Jose Canseco's swing always had me in AWE! When Manny connected fully oh yes it was a beautiful thing.
I was in awe of Canseco's swing too, but that was because of all the steroids he took. After he was off the steroids he was a shell of the player he was before.
I don't know about that the guy still plays from time to time in other leagues and still shows a dangerous cut even in his 50s.
Manny being Manny! Video made me chuckle, but thanks for putting some of the great plays he made over his great career also, excellent, excellent video!
+mandanhusker24 Thanks bud; he was a riot to watch, incredible hitter.
Haha ive never seen the base running one with Ortiz 😂
Has anyone noticed that the Yankees haven’t done shit since Manny Ramirez came to Boston? And during that time, Manny picked up 2 World Series Rings of his own.
We got Manny they got Arod , that is the difference. Manny has ice veins and rakes under pressure. A -rod is a man child!/

God was definitely smiling at All of Boston when the Texas Rangers rejected the Red Sox offer of trading them Manny Ramirez for that Piece of Shit A-Fraud and then turned around and shipped The Cheating Son of a Bitch to the Yankees!
The Greaaaatest Mr Manny Ramirez , One of the Best Swings in MLB history for suuure..is funny how some ppl dont give credit to this guy like he did nothing in MLB thats wack...But you know what? i looooved everytime manny shot a Home run seems like he knew everytime when the ball was gone MANNY WAS A WILD BOY🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
as a yanks fan, Manny is probably my all time favorite red sock
For me it would have to be Luiz Tiant
Just randomly found this video after looking up the ALDS walk off. Good video man!
Thanks; hopefully you got a chuckle or two out of it!
Nice touch adding the ‘04, ‘07 world series pitches.
Thanks for the kind words and watching my friend
pedro tossing don zimmer to the ground lmao
6:03 Best Bat Flip. Ever.
Like everything Manny did. just classic
4:56, Dennis Drinkwater, the guy in blue behind home plate - knows instantly that it's a home run and starts to book it to get out of Fenway and beat the traffic
Never noticed that before, man that dude was out of there before Manny even got out of the batter's box.
HAHAHHA
That guy has been a season ticket holder there forever. I've noticed him behind home for most games since I was a kid.
Manny loved beating up on my blue Jay's holy fck 😂😂
Manny wood 😔😔
You forgot when he caught the ball, jumped on the wall to high five a fan, then hit the cutoff
just manny being manny nothing out of the ordinary here lol
I know right;just another day at the office for Manny. lol
I know there are a lot of Manny haters out there (I have witnessed him get ripped by fans at a few day games) but damn was he entertaining to watch.
He was entertaining to say the least and isn't that why we go to the ballgame to be entertained and to see our team win. Manny helped do both.
Absolutely! He is legit my favorite offensive player of all time. His swing was textbook.
Plus he had fun on the field. I miss the Manny days.
beltre and Andrews are the same way as manny and ortiz
You missed the clip where he fields the ball, jumps up the wall, and hi-fives a fan. : (
He ended badly in Boston, but I look at his time in there as a whole and he was great. History will be good to the ManRam. The Indians were fools to let him walk.
He was a great ball player, but as with most players that at least come off as selfish and a little crazy. it does not end well for them as soon as their production starts falling off.
Indians didn't let him walk. Tribe offered 17M/yr and Boston offered 20M/yr. Nothing more than classic case of large market team poaching small market team.
MAN RAM
