Perfect Way to make Pemahu /Mende way 🇸🇱
Pemahu recipe
Potatoes leaves
Ogiri
Pepper
Onions
Jackato
Fish/optional
Palm Oil
Jumbo
Salt
Directions :
Get your potatoes,Cut it .
Start cooking rice by putting the water & the jackato first to boil ,after boil add your rice in (make sure rice is washed well) . Add your rice in pot leave to boil ,When it reaches to steaming point ,You take out the jackato out & out in a separate bowl .Mix rice make sure it at the steaming point . Add potatoes leaves ,make sure to put little on the rice & spreads it ,add Ogiri,Blend pepper & Onions & add jumbo on it ,The rest of the potatoes leaves Add ontop of the Ogiri & blend pepper & cover the pot for 5-8min to let it steamed & after it steamed ,You take it out with the Ogiri & pepper & put in a bowl & mixed it together ,& get your jackato make sure it’s blend of beat & add to the potatoes leaves & mixed everything ,Add seasonings if the taste hasn’t reach to your taste buds , at the main time make sure your palm oil is warming in a pot in the stove ,after mixing the potatoes leaves add into the palm oil & mix ,taste for salt or magic if not enough add to your size . If everything has been added ,Make sure to turn your head down to low,Cook on 5mins & dish with the same rice you just cooked & Enjoy with your family .
