Im getting a soft pedal after eliminating the ABS. I replaced the Master Cylinder with a non-ABS cylinder but am getting straight streams of fluid with no bubbles of air. Were your brakes softer afterwards?

Key word here is SIMPLE. Thank You! My Toyo Pickup is 1989 22R 4-Speed Rear-Wheel-Drive. I wish to eliminate LSVP also. Never had ABS Brakes!!! My 1989 has a minimal ECM. Why? There isn't even a plug to read Diagnostic Codes and this 1989 has an ECM! I wish to remove all Smog Devices, Fuel Cannister, LSVP Valve. Does anyone here know of a publication/book/video/owners club to assist re-engineering this vehicle? Thank You...

Roland Rosso mine’s over 280k. It’s all about maintenance. Sadly mine was neglected and beat on a bit. Check out ih8mud.com for lots of cruiser info.
