Couldn't agree with this more. Yes the prices are good but not when you try to return the stuff because they've sent half of it out wrong. They've sent the wrong stuff numerous times for me and friends. We don't bother using them anymore absolute waste of time. Never have the same problems with other companies.
Nice to see you selling some cars James, watching the other guys on UA-cam also and they have been quite for a few weeks . Why don't you get some of those car awaiting prep stickers to put in the windscreen, saves you having to tell them and if anyone comes to have a look at the cars when you're not there they will know . Keep it up chops 😁
Agree with other comments about Autodoc delivery times. They also appear to trade under other names. At least they don't have silly RRP's and discounts unlike ECP, etc. Prefer to support local independent long established motor factors where possible.
Makes perfect sense for you to use the EV as your commuting car Chop , especially as you have solar at home. Good idea to sticker it for advertising too
Autodoc are good if you can plan ahead because it can take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive. Shipped from Germany, they use Evri once the order reaches the UK. I have had orders from USA based Rock Auto delivered quicker.

That Golf won’t even have adaptive cruise control! When things like CarPlay and sat nav are too much trouble to fit there is no way they would fit adaptive cruise control. Clue will be does it display the speed limit on the dash? If not then no adaptive cruise. And, you could test it by you as mine will go well below 20 mph to set the limit.
You're confusing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) with something else. This golf does have ACC, and the adaptive part is referring to the ability for the car to follow the vehicle infront of it whilst keeping a set distance. You can see the radar within the bottom grill. My 2013 golf has ACC but the much earlier ICE system and so doesn't respond to speed limits etc. If you have the DSG version it'll actually come to a stop on the adaptive cruise. Volkswagen market predictive cruise control which is in tandem with ACC which will react to speed limits, bends and roundabouts.
The auto gearbox is a weak spot on those old A Classes - from memory the conductor plate or valve body often fails. So if you buy, give it a good test first, or allow a few hundred for a fix......
I found Autodoc very pricey. The price of their Castrol MAGNATEC 5W30 5 litre A5 is £47.34 + £8.45 shipping!! I paid £33.50 through Amazon for exactly the same product with "free" (non Prime) shipping and received it in a few days. I also looked at spark plugs, rotors and brake pads and they were not particularly competitive. It pays to do some research.
With their delivery charges work out same as my vw golf mk7 air filter and pollen filter same as genuine got from Audi dealer from eBay store. Overall price wasn't that much difference from genuine parts
@@Karl_Burton tbh as my site and business name are in pretty much every shot I kind of see it as a vetting process for those customers that are too needy lol

Some guy you are James. Getting your cars painted outside in windy/blowy weather. I would hate to see the finish on those cars. If you want, I’d be happy to do them myself for you free of charge. I could call round late at night, when it’s dark and spray them with my Hoover. Stevie Wonder taught me to do it very well.
Ok so you realise pretty much all smart repairs are done outside right? 🤣 Based on your knowledge of the industry I think I'll give your offer a miss 🤣🤣
@@ChopsGarage nothing smart about those repairs. And normally they might be done outside but not in the open like that. But if you go for a cheap job that’s exactly what you’d expect. As I said I wouldn’t touch one of those cars as a purchase. But then again, they are just cheap bangers!

@@roystonvehicles9129I’ve paid for vehicles by debit card before and it’s a real benefit to a buyer to be able to do that, however to protect yourself as a dealer it has to be chip and pin with pin entered on your premises and not CNP (customer not present). Credit card is another story altogether as the credit card company become jointly liable for the quality of the car and tend to side with a customer in a dispute. You can’t lose the money if the card turns out to be stolen as long as you are not complicit ( technically called merchant collusion ) and its chip and pin with pin entered on premises.
Soul is a great car as an EV I would have no issue buying one, people read stuff in the media or internet and believe it without doing any research themselves.
My neighbour has just sold her ten year old Nissan Leaf which she has run for eight years. She said it was just beginning to show reduced battery capacity. It's been no trouble apart from normal maintainance. Her new car....a more modern, but still second hand Leaf. She uses it for a 40 mile daily work commute and charges it overnight.
They are something like £2 for a 'full tank' 150 miles or so, which would probably be £20 in fuel. Why dont people understand how cheap they are to run? Yes still have a sports car,.but as a daily EV is best.
