I love the care that went into making the pods germane to the natural landscape, and the emphasis on the visual experience offered by each room, as the head architect calls it, above all other things. The design meets the basic goal of comfort and functionality, and nothing extraneous is added. Also, I am amused by how gigantic, heavy, sliding glass doorwalls seem to be a recurring theme on this channel. : ) Thanks for posting!
So so beautifully done...I hesitate to use the word perfect but this comes as close as I've ever had the pleasure to see. Thank you for sharing this 🙌🏾
This has got to be one of the most astoundingly well thought out concepts of deceptive simplicity I have ever seen. The location, the look and design of the buildings, every detail is so exquisite in its planning; from the minimal impact on the environment to the amount of privacy provided in such a seemingly wide open dwelling... It's near perfection. The forethought in positioning the pool in such a way as to maintain privacy AND be able to use its water in the event of a wildfire???@*#%$? Mind Blown. THAT is the kind of symbiosis that can ONLY come from a cohesive, collaborative effort... Bravo. Everything about this is unbelievably inspiring. I don't just want to see it, I want to recreate it, emulate it. I must go there someday. Great find. Thank you for sharing.
Love it, however, low fps when panning: As a rule of thumb, you want the denominator of your shutter speed to be approximately double the number of frames per second that you are recording. In other words, if you are recording at 30 frames per second, you want your shutter speed to be 1/60th of a second.
It's almost like a reinvention, on some profound level of the now almost lost ancient monastic virtues of solitude and silence - like the Carthusians in their little hermitages all lined up around the cloister but at once separate and alone... Wonderful...
Kirsten you always bring us such interesting and visually beautiful stories. I would love to go stay. It would be nice for stories like this one if you also interviewed the locals. It would be interesting to get their perspective, before the project, and now that it's up and running.
Needless to say, I congratulate you for the great architecture you have achieved without having to disturbed nature itself)
This is fairly close to my parents' home. I must investigate it one day. I would be content to wake up to that view every day. As far as the cubes go, that would be the perfect solution to homelessness everywhere. It's also good that they are accessible to everyone, Disabled or not.
Common false assumption, homeless people aren't homeless because they don't have a house . They are that way most of the time because they couldn't take care of one, they destroyed it etc. Poverty is not the main cause of homelessness , mental illness is.
Stunning location! Love the "rooms" and the way your sitting area opens up, avoiding having unsightly decks. Gotta lose the ugly tv's though, wrong vibe !
I live 50km away from that place and the whole area is beautiful. My brother spent a weekend at the place and they loved it, perfect place for couples. The only problem he told me about was the lack of privacy in the shower, as they are all visible from the outside :).
Wow. Visible from the side with the big sliding window overlooking the hillside or, visible from the side you approach them from? That would seem like a weird design choice considering the sails pitch leans so heavily towards the aspect of privacy.
wirelesmike73 visible from downhill. So if there are other cabins uphill yours then they are quite exposed. I guess that’s what it takes if you want to blend with nature hehe.
lol Well, if somebody wants to watch me shower, more power to 'em, I guess. They're not going to get much of a show. As long as I can poop in private, I'm cool.
Kristen....have you noticed that the mountain in the back of the stunning hotel rooms resembles a heard of elephants? Look closely....you can see their trunks, eyes and ears.....beautiful place!!!!!!
Another stunning property. Kirsten please think of making a Travel Advisor list of all the hotels, inns and campsites you have visited. Thanks for another great video.
Nature as luxury. Awesome thought. You can walk down the ravine to the reservoir, walk to town... then sleep and wake in that gorgeous ambience. Love it! Name of the hotel?
✨🌵🍷Love everything about this⛰️🌳✨ The concept, re-purposing a space, process, sizing; respect for natural landscape...plus it totally looks like this could be California or somewhere Western USA. 💞✌
Beautiful place. Olive trees and sun-dried rocks are perfect nature to me. And the houses are fitted well into it. Too bad it's probably too expensive for me xD love your vids
Wonderful! I would have loved to see more though. Such as the common areas and the bathrooms. Some more information as well like, can you swim in the reservoir? Anyway, I'd love to stay there for a week, just seems like I could get in a great headspace there. Maybe one day I could afford it lol.
And if it isnt a problem, how many languages do you speak? Because as far as i know, english, spanish and french, quite impressive from my point of view!
If the hotel business doesn't work out I'm sure they could easily sell each unit as a tiny house with an HOA fee to cover all the amenities like a community/fitness center and pool maintenance.
Is there a different color the Closed Captioning could come in? Black or white just don't cut it. I watched all 00.17.26 minutes. I could read very little of the CG-CC. And i don't speak spanish...
Gracias!
Big thanks Kirsten for all your efforts showing us so many amazing small yet smart houses ♥️
Kirsten this is an absolute gem of a place , huge applause to the architects !
I love their respect of the natural environment. What a peace, beautiful place.
I’m adding this as one of the places I would love to spend time at. It looks beautiful and peaceful.
What a vision these young people had!!
What beautiful landscape. I appreciate the time and effort they took to make sure it remained relatively unspoiled.
Sublimely spectacular...what vision! And what perception, to realize how solitude and quiet is a real luxury these days!

I love the view, the trees, the birds and especially that rocky outcropping. Beautiful and peaceful. I'd honeymoon there.
Bliss. Great design, construction and homogenisation with the landscape.
Insanely beautiful views .successful combination of architecture and natural conditions
Bird song, inspiring, rugged, BEAUTIFUL views. Inspired design!
What a beutiful location. Just so quiet and peaceful. This is perfect 💟💟❤

Absolutely beautiful. The quiet would have me bonkers in a week.

I was just going to write that! With Covid around, I bet you wouldn’t mind living out there!!!
I’m always inspired by your videos. Beautifully and tranquilly presented, concepts are always interesting.
Lovely tour beautiful views friend, awesome
I would travel the world to get to this place. It's stunning.
The sound of birds alone would make me live there forever.

Q lugar precioso. What a beautiful place. Guys good job.👍

Now this is how great design needs to be executed. Just one with the environment and with as minimal impact as possible.
This is fairly close to my parents' home. I must investigate it one day. I would be content to wake up to that view every day. As far as the cubes go, that would be the perfect solution to homelessness everywhere. It's also good that they are accessible to everyone, Disabled or not.
You would be "content"? You must live a very high standard life.

Its been a while since i watched your videos. I have been a fool. This is so beautiful and inspiring. Thanks.
Stunning location! Love the "rooms" and the way your sitting area opens up, avoiding having unsightly decks. Gotta lose the ugly tv's though, wrong vibe !
Yh, I agree, the tv doesn't blend at all, I'm sure there are better choices but they were probably trying to save cost.

Yes I guess so. I reckon the walk-in shower is the one exposed to the big bathroom window.
Show de bola!
I want to stay here. "Luxury is in the silence, in disconnecting." The pendulum swings the other way now. I love that.
WOW what a fabulous project and amazing terrain. Great vision!
Kristen....have you noticed that the mountain in the back of the stunning hotel rooms resembles a heard of elephants? Look closely....you can see their trunks, eyes and ears.....beautiful place!!!!!!
MINIMALIST DESIGN. LOVE IT.
I totally love this place. I visited Spain once and fell in love with the country.
Beautiful.
And the camera man did an excellent job : beautiful shots too.
vincent7520 is a woman 👩
@@oneway1811 Ooops ! …
Ordinary subconscious sexism I suppose.
Worse : I knew.
Oh well …
Another stunning property. Kirsten please think of making a Travel Advisor list of all the hotels, inns and campsites you have visited. Thanks for another great video.
I want to go and there for a month!! It’s beautiful 😍
Wow. What an incredible project!

What is the name of the company doing those pods please?
tell me what you're looking for and I can build you what you want
If the hotel business doesn't work out I'm sure they could easily sell each unit as a tiny house with an HOA fee to cover all the amenities like a community/fitness center and pool maintenance.
Looks great !
I like the open space, but youll need a mosquito net on the window. Maybe youll take on consideration till ill be there on visit!

maravilhoso. Lindíssimos. Parabéns !! I Love it.
I wonder how water and energy get to this kind of beautiful remote places
This is just amazing!
Amazing place!
just beautiful~ appreciate!!
I didn't see the rest of the house... why don't film the whole house..takes so long..the explanation...and at the end the most important is not shown
i already like it from the first 30 second
Gracias!
Not enough information About the house 😕
Hi Serkan, you can build these houses and invest in Kenya.
Do these people just sit there ans stare at the view all day?
Its very good European think like This. most of Asia dont know how to build structures that blend with Nature.
I would love to spend a week in this hotel...
Great videos, as always, but you desperately need a gimbal to stabilize your shots.
Sublime. Alicante is an agreeable city, but I never saw this part. This is not IN Alicante, but near it.
Alicante is both a city and a province. This is in the province of Alicante... about 20 kilometers up the mountain from Benidorm.
Alicante is also the name of the Provence. Benimantell is about 25mi. NW of Ciudad Alicante :]
Which is in the Communidad de Valencia. My parents live about 45 minutes south, on the border with Murcia.
I want to live there!!!
Me encanta.
Very weird having a TV,thats not disconnecting is it?
this is reaalllly niceee
Amazing
Great project!! Could we know who is the off-site manufacturing company?
tell me what you want and I can build it for you
Awesome
es un gran concepto.
Excelente
love!!!
