Jeff , i am trying to install the firmware for chitu but I am getting a no authorization error when trying to print the UI 3.5 bin file . Have you see this before or have any insight as to why this would happen .

@@chronoplise1580 at this point i was able to just flash a copy of marlin bugfix2.0 to the machine . now everything works . it appears that once you have the boot loader for Chitu you are able to flash on marlin .
Just flash the tronxy marlin and it willwork.. just dont skip the step on putting the sleeves oit in boot pin and the usb pin @chronoplise1580
i Cant calibrate my LCD Display With the .Bin file on the last step. how i can fix them?
There is no fix you just have to flash you old firmware back.
Hello Jeff. I did the procedure to put the firmware of the original tronxy, step by step as you demonstrated in the video. But it gives an error ("No Authoritation!") when I go to run the files from the SD card. This way I can't complete the firmware installation. Can you help me with this?

I'm with. I have a problem with my Tronxy X5SA printer I downloaded the firmware and compiled it I tried to update it but I can't, could you help me? The machine does not boot to update from the SDCard and I don't know why. Would I have to change my board or is it something else?
Thanks. Do you have the block diagrams for the motherboard so I can repair the motherboard's hardware? When I turn on the printer, start heating the hot end and only stop when it reaches a maximum of 275. The thermostat is able to keep reading, so the failure is with the relay swish. So, do you have information about the diagram so I can find out when this switch is so I can change it, or any other advice?
Jeff thanks a ton for putting this together. I haven't used mine for almost a year due to frustration with it shutting off mid print. The tronxy Marlin is running way faster, smoother and so far trouble free.
Hi just wondering if I can help I had an old tronxy xy2 pro with a 255 bed I converted it to a 310x310 net but I need to change y steps to Mach the biger bed so home correctly so on but not clue how do about doing it carnt dinds any video on do it

Im curious if the abl system actually works on Marlin, as on Chitu it only shows you the probe point measurments to adjust the screws, but no mesh bed leveling
This is a really great detailed tutorial, thanks for putting it together. I have an X5SA printer with the v6 board. I noticed that in the folder, you just have the XY-2 files. I have downloaded the update from Tronxy direct (Mainboard 103), but it didn't contain the bootloader file. Can I just use the bootloader out of your XY-2 non titan on my board and then use the update folder I downloaded for the X5SA? I tried googling for X5SA bootloader but didn't find anything useful. Thanks for your thoughts on this. Again, great work on the video.

I know thisbisnold but did you find a resolution? I have the same problem here. I just got one really cheap and found this video. I got to the No firmware to start and it will not read the update folder. I've tries 20 sd cards ranging from 2 to 8gb with no success. I can't go back to chitu cause all I get is annoying beeps with no display. I guess it's bricked. It does have an stm chip that I might rip off to put on an ender that has a GD32F303RET6 chip.
Jeff, Thank you for the detailed procedure. After trying Marlin I had issue with Z-Offset setting getting reset after each power cycle. So I switch back to Chitu from your files. Now I'm experiencing on LCD filenames only show 8.3 characters.. Anoying.. Do you have any newer Merlin firmware for this board CXY-V6-191017 ?
Yesterday I was afraid I had to buy a new board, one video later and my XY2pro is moving again. I wasn't aware I needed to flash a bootloader before the firmware, I somehow deleted that. Thank you so much and enjoy the coffee.
I can confirm that this process also works for the Tronxy X5SA printer from the original Chitu to the Marlin updated (or any I guess) using the same process and bootloader.hex for the XY-2 PRO_V1.24(103)noTitan (using the mcuisp.exe program). I also had to build the F103_PIC480x320-firmware in VS Code, but then flashed the XY-2 bootloader and put the update folder with the new firmware on the SD card and it updated fine. Now running the new Tronxy Marlin firmware and loving the adjustable z offset. Thank you Jeff and the wider community!
Would this process apply for a Tronxy X5ST-500-2E running Chitu firmware?

Jeff I have the Tronxy CXY-V6-20191017 mainboard on a XY-2 2E machine. I am trying to install marlin on it. The board only has one jumper (5v to USB) it does not have the boot jumper. Does anyone know how to add the marlin firmware to this board.

I havea TRONXY XY3-SE which according to your info has a TRONXY version of Marlin pre-installed, what I want to do is edit the extruder settings so that I can install a UK made Hemera extruder, butI can't find any settings for doing this. If your just adjusting the esteps you can do it with pronterface.

I have a board of tronxy that does a lot of random stuff one time i bought from a retailer that sells modified tronxys, fpre replacinf and older one, i wil try this and try to solve my problem thx alot!
r upgrading to the the tronxy marlin I get a heating failed system stop evrything works including autobed leveling.

I have concern though. Apparently the Tronxy Marlin v1.32 does not work with the current mcsuisp or bootloader.hex files included in your DropBox. Every time I try to flash 1.32, the screen at 15:08 says "Boot: unknown boot. Firmware: yaddayadda" Then it hangs at this menu indefinitely and heats up the hotend.
I can only get it to work with Marlin v1.24 (the one included in your dropbox)
Is there a way to use the latest marlin 1.32 on the older mainboard 103s?

I have the X5SA-E2 with the firmware now present, I can't choose if I want to use E1 to print with or E2 is it fixed in the update? thx! :)
Hmmm, looks like the file from DropBox is infected with Win32.Troj.Undef.a.(kcloud) according to virustotal
Probably because they are tools to modify software. That's usually a big no.
This is great. I just picked up one of these off Facebook marketplace, the gentlemen couldn't get it to work. After some finageling and rebuilding/returning to stock firmware, we seem to be good to go. I was wondering do you know which Marlin or other firmware I can use with the V5 CXY-V5-180409 board?
I think the v5 and v8 boads run the same firmware.
Ok, first of all thanks for your videos! Awesome work! Anyhow, got a Xy2-pro and been having nothing but problems! Printed fine out of the box, then started to get layer shifts in y-axis, was told voltage was wrong on stepper motors, set voltage to 1.8 per Tronxy, still layer shifts, then board burnt out for some odd reason! Got sent new board, and still layer shifts! Any help from you would be greatly appreciated since Tronxy hasn’t responded to me lately!
Y axis try grubscrew? Looks like you did everything else. Sorry I can't help more.

Does anyone know anything about "no authorization allowed" when trying to install the ui .bin filder or any of them? Haven't been able to get passed this point so I just had to reflash my old firmware. :/ I'm just trying to get custom Marlin to have a little more flexibility in the U.I. making life a little easier.

@@Ithacska sorry I wasn't able to figure it out my self. I had to contact tronxy to send me there latest compatible firmware for my machine. Still haven't been able to get custom Marlin sadly. :/

Have you put back the jumpers for USB and +5V?
@@arrgh- Yes it is one of the steps to finish the instlation.I try a diferend card, I format the original one but nada. All the cards are ok to the pc.
You have to re-enable that SD card reader in the Marlin firmware before flashing

Hi! maybe it's bcs u got the wrong Firmware. I've done the flashing thing on my X5SA Pro, but i accidentally installed the Firmware from the X5SA, and I got the problem u are having, then I got the right Firmware and problem fixed.

it's nice 2 know my XY3-V2 isn't just another amazon claim! those things R so overpriced! be careful not to use printing software, that want's to write to firmware!! just be thankful they don't make prosthetics? good luck Jeff!! a quick note: STM has up-graded their chip
