Podbike Adapts to Achieve Success-Spezi 2024 Booth Interview

Founder Per Hassel Sørensen gives us the latest on their revolutionary light electric vehicle. Overcoming years of unexpected hardship the Podbikes are now shipping in larger numbers. They are dealing with early criticisms as they arise and seem to be very well received by the test riders on the track behind our interview perch.

This should just be registered as l6e and then it would be fine.
It doesn't even have a chain, that's why it's limited to 250w contrary to actual ebikes that are actually hybrid and can have human power plus 250w.
And as far as I know the regulations for EU existed before they designed this colossal machine.
I mean, I'm all for increasing the wattage somewhat and increasing top speed somewhat too, but designing something heavily and with a lack of power right from the start and expect the EU to change their laws just to make this "concept" viable while the rest of the VM market makes it work even without electric assist ...
It seems odd.
And claiming these things couldn't be registered as l6e ... leiba already does it and they do it successfully.
