    For People who dont wanna take the long ride. When you are stationed in VIK, you only have a short drive to Packgil. It is even more beautiful than Landmannalaugar. Great hike to a Glacier Waterfall.

    You guys bring so much joy..I'm headed for ICELAND in June this year, driving around the ring road in a All wheel drive.,have you guys visited the east side of dettifoss and found the gravel doable for a regular car?

    • @DylanBrianVlogs
      @DylanBrianVlogs  Рік тому

      We do not know what exactly the east side of dettifoss is. What you see in the video is where we visited, sadly I can't clarify that for you. I think the gravel road will be drivable in a regular car because we didn't lose traction or get stuck ever and rear wheel drive should be perfectly fine. Hope you have a fun and safe trip!!

      thank you Claire 😍 we took the trail leading to Rainbow Mountain, it's pretty easy to follow the trail because you can see the Mountain from distance. Hope you enjoy your trip 😍

    can anyone identify where in Landmannalaugar 6:00 - 6:50 exactly is? Does this area have a particular name?

    We want to go to Iceland next year, but I don’t know if driving is a good idea specially since my husband doesn’t like to drive on vacation and as I saw bus tour are so expensive too.. Is it safe and easy to drive over there? And also, do you go back to the same hotel rvery day or u book different location that is close to the point of view? Is it a lot of driving? Did you guys explore the South and North Icelan?

      We drove petty much every day for couple of hours to get to our next destination around Iceland. We started our trip in Reykjavik and stayed there for 3 nights and then we had to drive every day to our next destination. We also stayed at different place every night close to our destination. We are planning to post updated video from our Iceland trip and going over our 8 day trip and provide more details about our route and favorite places to see so you can check it out in couple of weeks. And it was pretty easy to drive in Iceland but going to some destinations (e.g. Landmannallaugar) requires to take some F roads which may be difficult to drive. Hope that helps and let us know if we can answer any more questions.

    I have a free day on July 10 as I am arriving into Iceland on July 9 and my companions are not arriving till the 11th. Is a one day trip possible?

    • @DylanBrianVlogs
      @DylanBrianVlogs  6 місяців тому

      yes, it's possible. We did it as a one day trip and we chose a shorter hike, like the one from the base to the Rainbow Mountain which we featured in this vlog.

      We forgot to mention in our previous response that it's a little long and sometimes challenging ride (about 3-4 hours from Reykjavik).

    Sorry too much photoshop and saturation. Been there multiple times, have never seen color like that!

    • @DylanBrianVlogs

      We used filters with drone footage and the lighting was amazing at the time we recorded. It was around 10 pm at night and we realized it was the best light so we flew the drone and it came out really well. We experienced different kind of weather during our 8 day trip around the Iceland and we understand how you feel because some of our footage and experience didn't come out as well either.

    • @zeenadog7147

      Thank you for your prompt response. I just hate to set footage that does not truly represent what one actually sees. Too many folks over saturate footage. So, when folks new to the area actually see the area they are disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the area is very colorful but let's try and keep thing real.
