- Jack Benny and George Burns on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour in 1967. Jack and George do a funny takeoff on Tommy and Dick and then are joined by the Brothers.
Both guys had radio shows and they made listening every bit as much fun as viewing.

I was born in 2002 and I love Jack Benny and George Burns. It's a shocker that those guys inspired me. And their from a way different genre than me

Being in my late 60s, I am a long time fan of all four comedians. It was good to see the genuine respect Tom and Dick gave to Jack and George.

He was known for his comic timing and the ability to cause laughter with a pregnant pause or a single expression, such as his signature exasperated "Well!"

The death of George's close friend Jack Benny in 1974 unexpectedly precipitated Burns’s comeback when he took over the role intended for Benny in the screen adaptation of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys (1975).
In this 1967 clip, Jack is 73, and George is 71.

If I remember right Jack Benny was on the radio too bad they stopped playing it so long ago. Made a person laugh. Jack and George two awesome guys. Rogechester or something like that.
