I'm in the Lakes as well at the moment and will be all week so fingers crossed for some action. Great Shots by the way Brackers. Last year I had a C130J Skimming Roof Tops over Keswick (ZH888) and an A400M turning from Walla Crag over Derwent water which was filmed from High Spy/Catbells. The year before I had a V22 do a low pass over Derwent water as well. Today I will be around the Latrigg area so I should be able to see them if they come past
Impressive and all, but aren’t people going to the lakes for a peaceful holiday? Overtaken by the military, and Boris ordering them. You want a break no
Nice compilation, was all this shot on the same day? I've spent a fair bit of time in the Mach Loop but never ventured to the lake's, I must get up there next year 👍
The general route is north up Windermere, then over Ambleside and Grasmere, Dunmail raise, Thirlmere then Keswick and Bassenthwaite. Or Windermere then Kirkstone Pass and Ullswater. The Dunmail pass route is the busiest. Theres a spot either side at the summit of Dunmail on the dual carriage way section, just climb the fell on either side. Tomorow im going to go up Grear How (north of Thirlmere) then Smaithwaite (Up the forest track just north west of Raven Crag). This is why you don't want to be flying drones around in the Lake District. This isn't a one-off. These guys practice low flying training quite often in the Lakes, and don't give any warning prior to coming through......
Ukraine has Carpathians and Crimean Mountains. West Russia has the Caucasus mountains, home to Europes biggest mountain. Not sure how thats relevamt though as the RAF has fought in many wars over the last 100 years but none in Russia or Ukraine? Plus they do train in Scotland.
Love the pull out on the fourth F15! Bet that was an experience!
The noise was incredible!
I take it it's the Swiss F18 visiting RAF Leeming that occasionally shows up as an RAF plane on ADS-B?
Incredible footage of various military aircraft 😎😊
Great footage .. what an absolute buzz..

No, it was over a couple of years! This much in a day would be a dream!
Is that Thirlmere?
I’m currently in the lakes and would love to see this spectacle. Any advice on location where I should go to see it
Thanks in advance

A magical place. Not important. Imagine
A lot of mountains in Ukraine and West Russia are there? Don’t think so, go and train in Scotland or Norway.

Surely that’s what they’re training for…I’m saying I would be annoyed if that happened everyday overhead
US and UK got lazy
Stop the camera shake!!!!
