I have the same problem guys, the "F {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x001bf6dc]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x8" error. Striker are your games installed on your hard drive or are you launching them from a virtual CD drive? I just tried launching God of War which I have installed in this location 'E:\RPCS3\dev_hdd0\disc\BCUS98229' and when I try to launch the 'GOW1.self' file I just get a blank white screen. But, if I load the .ISO image in Daemon Tools and launch "L:\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\GOW1.SELF' the game works like yours!! Any ideas what the problem could be please mate? Using an i5 4670K CPU and an 8GB AMD R9 390X GPU with 32GB of RAM.
All my games are on hard drive, launched directly through the emulator. Not using a virtual drive. You certainly have the horse power to run it but iv'e no idea what is causing that error mate. I went on the (RPCS3) forum and noticed another chap that is having the same problem. (www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=157700&page=5) Seems like it's becoming a common issue but If it works when you play it on virtual drive then your'll probably have to use it that way until there's a fix. Those RPCS3 fellas work fast these days so might have one sooner than later. You could post your issue on the forum. The more they know about it the better. Sorry i couldn't be of help mate :)

Dizzee Are you launching it the same way as shown in the video?
yes, exactly the same, even the build is the same, the game is the same
Dizzee Hard to tell what is causing it but I have a similar issue if I overclock the cpu. Sometimes it will boot, sometimes it won't.
Dizzee What's your Pc specs?
