Thanks, for more confusion hahahahah I am a new guitarist I have been researching a decent starter to the acoustic Glarry has a few decent ones, as well as a few other kits E-Bay offers, I have dealt with temu in past, never considered them as a weigh in contender, just requires more thought and homework. @@taurushipointenthusiast1306 Don't worry, I didn't think your comment was for ill or was harsh. I totally agree with you about the quality of most cheap guitars available. When I started playing guitar, all the cheap ones were bad, but not these days, most of them are really good. My response was targeted at people thinking of buying one of these guitars for a little kid. This guitar is way too big for a kid. Over the years I've had to tell multiple parents to take the guitar back and change it or lock it away for a few years because they've bought a full size guitar for a little kid. You've actually given me an idea for a video about this . . .

A good example of how someone who can play guitar can make even an inexpensive instrument sound a bit better than expected. As an inexperienced player myself, I'd be tempted to put better strings on it to try for a slightly warmer sound. But that's just me. From the video, it appears you got your money's worth. 😊
Yes you're right. Usually I'd do the same, but then it wouldn't be a very honest review would it 😊. On a guitar of this price, I'd suggest putting on a new saddle as well. 😊

@@cnew4342 Yes, I had the same thought and I found nothing. When budget guitar brands make a signature piece that can be amazing, but not many brands do . . what a shame 🤔
Perfect! I was looking for a guitar UA-camr who speaks with the inflection of an American nature documentary from the nineties. All jokes aside this looks like a great couch guitar. Just downloaded the app and ordered for almost nothing with the deals they gave.
No, I think the mic is too close because it's the guitars own resonance, the only thing I used was compression to stop high peaks in the sound from clipping. 🤔
the strap would probably be fine if you also used the included "shoestring" to tie to the headstock behind the nut. Most of my acoustics are setup that way. Nice review
Cool, that brings more balance to the feedback I'm getting. So far more people are voting 'no pickguard'. You've reminded me of the fact that it has an important function, especially to people who strum. 😊😀
@@guitar-academy . . . . and, as I'm certain you already know, the method of adhering the pick guard ( e.g. choice of adhesive and degree of adherence) are also considerations worth thinking through.
Sounds eerily like a piezo pickup being recorded straight in this 🤔 what was your post processing? I think a straight camera mic sound would be a better representation of something like this
I have disagree strongly with that . . Camera sound is done through a pinched dynamic range microphone and then recorded in the camera using compression with a mid to high compression ratio which then gets recompressed for the final video. The studio mic has a high dynamic range and can be recorded with no compression or in a lossless format.
@@guitar-academy Well, just downloaded the Temu app and used your code but got the message: _"Sorry, you can't enjoy the offer because the promotion has expired"._ This was despite the Temu website still currently saying the guitar is available for £33.81 if you install their app! Ok - looking at the camera angles... there's very little, if any, radius to that fretboard - which makes it an emphatic 'no-way' from me. Without a proper radius - that will be uncomfortable for strumming; you might as well have a classical guitar.
All those guitar straps and guitar strings are not any good. Be a good beginners guitar. Did you play this guitar with the strings that came with it? Good video.
Yes, I don't think it's really honest to make changes to the guitar before reviewing it. I might do a follow up video of easy improvements that can be made to a cheap guitar. 😊

2.75mm at the 12th is high! @2.5 to 2mm is avg to low...a new player would hate 2.75mm
2.75mm out of the box is fine, most cheap guitars are way higher.
