2.00 Respect for the car driver, not only for his quick reaction in this situation, but also the way he adressed the little boy on the pushbike. He didn't yell at him, but was mostly concerned, knowing that the boy just had learned an important lesson. This is also a way to handle this kind of situations...
MrJablong Hello Sir, it is obvious it was the boy's fault. I understand your comment, but on the other hand, I think that the boy was quite under the impression and shaken up by the event. He will not forget it very qiuckly. I had about the same experience when I just started to drive (I had driven less than 500 kilometers at the time) when I accidently bumped into another car. I was my fault, clearly, and the other driver did not shout at me at all, but understood why I was shaking all over and sayd that, as it was a fender bender, it would be an insurance matter. But I still remember it and now 40 carefull driving years later I can say it was the only crash in my life... (let's hold some wood).

Totally agree with Karl, people need to be more like this driver and just chill. We all make mistakes. Driving on the road, there are too many people with a bad attitude and sense of entitlement. Yeah, like I’m perfect 🙈🙈🙈

At 1:40 its actually their fault, the ones blaring their horn. They are merging into his lane, therefore he doesn't have to give way to them. They were behind him, therefore they should have slowed down in time and slid in behind him

***** there are 3 lanes - the hard shoulder becomes a lane - you clearly don't drive motorways much because this sort of arrangement is out there right now in dozens of locations. I swear there must be roadworks on every motorway in the UK right now
the vw had right of way, thier Lane ran out and they should have noticed and slowed to merge.
They were probably one of them arses that are glued to the right lane every time.
There would've been enough warnings and road signs to tell them the lane was closing a few hundred yards earlier.

At approximately 1:38 the camper van is in a lane and in front of the car filming. the car filming should have picked a spot (hung back or sped up long ago when they saw the road merging) and merged in. Let's be honest if you're matching speed with a car next to you and your lane is disappearing, you won't win trying to force someone out the way

+GuTWorm68 at first I thought the person driving was at fault but brad is right, the lines are there but there are those green like things to move the lanes, if you've ever been on the m62 when you get to the end (Liverpool) it does exactly what brad is saying, 1st lane moves to HS, 2nd moves to first etc.

+Stephen Olanipekun I'm guessing you don't drive. Or I hope so. They don't take precedent over the lane markings at all. They are called cats eyes for use at night so that the people can merge into the correct lane. The camper van doesn't have to give way to an over taking car at all. If you notice the cats eyes only merge from lane 3 to lane 2. Lane 2 does not have cats eyes merging into the 1st lane. As this would mean the camper van would collide with the other camper van in the first lane, had it been positioned next to it. Unfortunately the thinking of you and this person in the third lane are a cause of most motorway accidents. I do agree it's not quite clear. But a competent driver would know this.
+Stephen Olanipekun also as an example to you, there are motorways which merge like this when coming to an end. so the roadworks are not of any relevance. As I said the cats eyes are there for nighttime, they would naturally be present if this was a permanent road layout. It's simple 3 into 2 doesn't go. So you merge AHEAD of the lane close which is always sign posted well ahead.

Thanks for making these videos. I'm not the most experienced driver, so your videos help. Its nice to have some idea of just how bad some drivers can be on the road.
+Daniel Sadjadian ..So many of these problems are caused by: excess speed, not enough stopping distance, and lack of observation. Pay attention to all of these and you can't go far wrong. The other problems in the video are caused by complete bloody idiots!

1:40 that was the driver with the dashcams fault as his lane was merging. he obviously didnt read the numerous signs that would have alerted him to the fact his lane was closing in so many yards
No it's the VW at fault, the Painted lines aren't in operation due to the road works so there is temporary lanes set up with cat eyes, you can see the little bumps on the road to indicate the new lanes, so the VW actually entered his "outside lane".
If you want further prof you can see a truck driving on the hard shoulder in the same clip after as it is being used to maintain a 3 lane system.

I am one of the safest teenage drivers out there, I can say that for a fact, and it honestly scares me how many twats there are on the road, some don't even know basic right of way for fuck sake..

Ughhhh I could kill drivers like the one at 4:29!!! Pulls out in front of you and instead of trying to match the speed so as not to force others to slow down they just take their time and then even worse START BRAKING BECAUSE YOU GOT TOO CLOSE!!! Then you try to overtake and they accelerate!??!?!

after having been driving for 5 years now (2 of those for business purposes) I can say there are loads of idiots on the road, although the one with the mini I saw no problem with, he pulled out with plenty of space, try using your breaks.

ThePureGamer J walking isn't illegal in the UK. I wish it were though, most of the people in Edinburgh just cross as they please with no regard for traffic. As the pedestrian began crossing the road was clear, if the Audi hadn't accelerated at a dangerous speed then the pedestrian would have been on the pavement by the time it passed. If he hit the pedestrian and the Police saw the footage the driver would be getting charged.

If the car had hit the pedstrian a court of law would use THC to establish liability.
Rule 21 clearly states (under the diagram accompanying the rule) under top illuminated icon in red of a man standing "Do not cross". The pedestrian totally ignored this, possibly without following rule 7; the pedestrian would be found most to blame for the crash.
@@cigmorfil4101 Pedestrian was already crossing before the audi had turned into the road. You may want to read a few more highway code rules before you decide who is at fault.

The thing that fucks me off about driving in the UK is that the immediate reaction after someone has made a mistake is for them to then slam their brakes on. Half of these are probably crash for cash attempts, but the rest are just the driver being a selfish prick who can't do anything wrong.

03.00 I actually live near that junction. It's a double roundabout. Such a nightmare. The road the silver car pulls out of is so awkward to get out of. Normally though it's cars stop giving them right of way when heading in the opposite direction the driver in the clip was going.

The rider is a friend of mine and It's actually Industrial power tools they thrown out to try and cause him to crash so the chasing cop car would be forced to stop it was all admitted in court when they was caught.

Chances of that, the first one, at that roundabout (bowaters roundabout it's called) I live right next to. The amount of people that have no idea how to use that one roundabout is ridiculous; I've nearly come off of my motorcycle numerous times because of it.

I'm on the road every day and nobody wants to admit that they are in the wrong and apologise. It's like the fact that they are in a car means that they can just do as they please.

Having had a chat with my Wife (who is part of the transport industry) & she informed me that it was four years ago that we went to the N.E.C & that it is now mandatory for drivers to cycle around a City on a bicycle & it has been for the last 3 years. Just hope I had something to do with that.

So after watching a few of these if I ever come to the UK, don't ride a bicycle or motorbike, one way streets are sometimes 2 ways, people jump queues on wrong side of the street, people don't know how to merge. Basically same as NZ, and audi drivers bad here too.

I'm fairly familiar with the highway code but think I need to buy a newer edition as I don't remember reading this rule in my copy....
Pull out in front of another driver forcing them to take action to avoid a collision then perform multiple brake checks while making insulting hand gestures and mouthing abuse.
Looks like I need to update my driving skills.

You can turn around at a mini-roundabout, but as the Highway Code says, signal, go slowly, and be aware other drivers may not realise what you are doing at first.

I would like every driver, no matter how good they think they are, to ride around a City on a bicycle! They will not have their tin box as protection from idiot drivers. Not only will they be more assertive to bicycles but also make their awareness more prominent & be better drivers. I did suggest this at a FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) chat at the N.E.C a couple of years ago. All the best.............

+99hammy99 No he isn't, look closer you will see the diamond studs in the road. The hard shoulder becomes lane 1 and so on, very common and well signposted before hand in UK roadworks - everyone moves one lane over.

1.45 in the campervan was not in the wrong. the car with dash cam left it far too late to filter into the left lane as the right lane was closed
What were the bits flying up the road when the police was chasing the car?
Notice to all you brake checkers out there. I now drive a big maroon Dodge Ram with legal, but not *too* efficient brakes. The bumpers are made out of steel so thick that they are used as the jacking points to change wheels at the roadside. Even the tow ball just bolts onto the rear one. Stop for no reason in front of me and the odds are that my front bumper will hit the back of the *front* seats and might even knock some sense into you.
Ps. I have front and rear 1080p full HD cameras to help settle all 'he said, she said' arguments.
