PATCHED Injustice Mobile on Android (glitch): Cheap packs using the lock/unlock technique

Update 19 July 2015: With the recent update, when locking/unlocking our device, Injustice will sometimes be distorted on the screen, to the point where the button for confirming the purchase is off-screen. All you need to do is minimize and then reopen Injustice to restore the screen to normal.

We've resisted doing this video because ... reasons.
Okay, to be perfectly honest, it's essentially the same glitch (buying expensive packs at the price of a cheap pack) that we demonstrate with the flip technique here ( • *PATCHED Injustice Mob... ). So why do another one?
Because of the preparation necessary (remove password unlock before, and put it back on after), we had erroneously believed that it was faster and easier to do the flip technique.
After being convinced by +Kareen Lashley's comments to try it out, we were finally able to perform the glitch on both our devices, including our recalcitrant main playing/filming LG Optimus G.
Big hat tip to +DarkmanLOL also, who pointed out how important it is to use the audio cues for determining when to buy and when to cancel.
As always, we don't have Apple devices, so we can't answer any questions about iOS.
And unless you have a Cubot S168 or an LG Optimus G, we don't know if it will work on your Android device, either.
Will you get banned for using this? We don't know that either, but we can say that we haven't gotten banned for using any of the glitches that we have demonstrated on our channel.
And it bears repeating: you don't need to be offline for this to work, but we always recommend being offline whenever possible as a general precaution.
I have to say that this technique has been working for me consistently so thanks for the video. It is kinda game breaking especially since all the cards I have gotten in the past were by painful grinding, but at the same time you can argue this can balance out the need for tedious grinding. None of the other booster pack glitches were working for me but this one finally did!
I had wasted close to 200,000 credits in trying out the other glitches, but this one worked in the first go like a charm!

I finally mastered this glitch; anyone using KINDLE FIRE HD, you have to listen for that loud double click! If you get a long loading screen when you unlock (with a character still or something) just wait and try again. You have to tap that bronze pack location only once or twice and super quick (my kindle either has a long loading screen or a super fast transition, so timing is really tricky) and then hammer the pack you want for dear life! Seriously kindle users, if you don't hear the loud double click, don't bother, I wasted a ton of coins, lol. Thanks again guys at bdckr gaming, you rock.

Ive gotten this one to work once on my kindle fire HD! 🙌 it's really tricky because I almost never get that 3 second black screen, I usually get the super long loading screens that show a character pic... I'll just have to practice! Thank you guys 😀

thank you guys ,i have been douting these so called "glitches" but i wanted to see for my self and it worked, but because injustice is my favourite ios game i wont use this glitch alot so i wont ruin the fun of this game.

If you go into your settings and change the time in the date and time section, you take trick injustice into thinking a certain amount of time has gone by, causing your energy to instantly recharge. The only downside is that if you want to participate in the weekly online tournament, it messes that all up so...

And the best part is, you won't get ban from online multiplayer.
So simple.
-Open store
-simply minimize the game and resume it again
-tap sometime on bronze pack area till it loads and when a black screen appears from almost ~1 second, tap the booster pack u want.
- and with a high sound it will change ur pack with low price.
I paid 32k bucks, out of which it worked for 3 times, giving me 6 gold characters.
Turn off internet connection (be cautious) when doing this glitch.
Turn on and thn play with your new characters Online...

Minimizing does work, but it takes at least 15 seconds to come back. Might not seem like a lot, but it is considering I use to be able to do the glitch every few seconds. Better than nothing, I guess.

Ok, understood! My problem is different... The sound effect is right, there's no screen distortion, but when I tap the Confirm button... It gives me a Bronze pack :-(
Fabio divizia If you were doing it before but can't now, then the likely culprit is timing. It may just take a bit more practice.

ur tips are usefull and i value that but why do you need both of you for one video, theres one phone so why do you need 2 people. You could make seperate channels ;), btw, can u restore full energy on mkx ios to full without turning off your phone because the minority probably found that video useful. I was looking for something to do with date change and restarting game.

The only difference was the screen became distorted, and we had to minimize and then reopen Injustice to pick up the pack.
how come mine goes like a bug that makes the pack squeezed in the left with black on the right... I cant confirm it

80k in a One plus One and doesn't work for me... ;( I'm follow carefully everything and also read the comments searching for something useful but... I can´t do it...
Turn off the internet
Turn on PowerSaving (it will give u sm tym to press precisely)
Run injustice
Go to store, and remember position of packs which u want.
Press switch app button.
Select injustice again.
While it load, keep tapping at bronze pack location and thn a black screen will occur for less thn a second at that moment tap other pack.
If Thr is loud click, u r successful otherwise keep trying.

Fabio divizia Steps are all the same, but after the unlocking and tapping, the bronze pack popup shows up on the left half of the screen (right half black), but distorted so that the "confirm" button is off-screen below the bottom.
Hitting the home button (to minimize Injustice), and then reopening it will fix the distortion.
on my s4 if i just minimize the game,then pop it back up it works,kinda like that and no need for me to lock my phone,also it only takes 8k too with bronze to most wanted packs
I know this might be a stupid question, but do you know if this works on the Galaxy S5, because just tried it on my brothers note and it worked but I don't think on the GS5

The glitch was working fine but now the most wanted pack don't appear next to the bronze pack anymore. I've turn on airplane mode to remove the challenge bundle and the red pack appears next to the bronze. Any idea how to fix that?
Will Wright They don't need to be right beside each other. As long as they both appear on the screen, it works. You just need to tap on the correct parts of the screen.
I tried this glitch a billion times it hasn't worked any tips. I'm using a Samsung S4.

It worked on my Note 4 about 25% of the time (pretty acceptable in my book) a week ago. As the week went on, it worked less and less until it stopped working altogether a couple of days ago. Anybody have a similar experience?

So go to sell, then find a character you want to sell flip your device quickly tap on the character then onto upgrade cards, if it worked the device will say Batman or etc in the upgrade aile and you'll sell the card but it'll still remain in the sell. Hope it works😀

I can confirm it does not work in android Lollipop, using OnePlus One. Injustice version 2.4.0
In lollipop, when locking the screen, the game remains running, so there is no delay after you unlock. The music doesn't even stop.
Anybody has lollipop with this (or any other) working?

Kelvyn Abreu Most people are conditioned to wait for something to happen on the screen before touching something else. It sometimes helps to practice swiping and tapping *immediately*. Even if it is a very very very short delay, there is usually an opportunity to tap.
One other option would be to minimize and then reopen Injustice (instead of lock/unlock), keeping every other step the same. For some people, the timing is easier to manage. For us, the timing on minimize/reopen is too long to work on either of our devices.

Does it only work on most wanted pack? I tried opening the justice league pack several times today even with the sound is loud and doubled I kept on getting bronze pack... most wanted pack works fine for me
Retalorate It works for any pack. The problem we sometimes run into is that different parts of our screen aren't equally sensitive. If you really needed the Justice League pack characters, you could just load on the ones from the Most Wanted pack, sell them, and just buy the others outright.
Not working on OnePlus One (5.0.2)
After lock screen the game will resumes in portrait mode so u have to click home button and thn resume it.

That isn't portrait mode. It's stilll landscape mode, but the app is distorted so that it is taller than it is wide. That means the button is offscreen and there's a bunch of black space.
If you followed the steps correctly (tapping in the appropriate areas *BEFORE* anything appears), after you click home and resume Injustice, clicking on the bronze pack will give you the Most Wanted Pack (or whichever other pack you were using this technique for).

Once you resume Injustice, the screen is not distorted, and you can click "confirm".

I have an issue, this glitch used to work perfectly for the past few months but since maybe about the last week whenever I turn my Galaxy S4 back on half of the screen comes on black and the other half has a sort of compressed version of the normal game screen. If you guys have any advice or clue on what's wrong I would really appreciate it guys.

Okay so I've tried just about every glitch you guys made on here and not one works except for promoting a charchter which for me was Shazam. But I have the S3 I think. Yeah I'm pretty sure it is. Idk my sister past away and it was her phone and I dont have a smart phone so I use this with WiFi. But I can't get anything to work. :/ no extra packs no anything I would be more then happy to give you my account to do it on yours so I can have a little extra or if you know anyone who this has worked for for the S3. But yeah its not working :(

Ryan Hurley Lock/unlock doesn't give us a loading screen. Minimize/reopen does give us a loading screen.

〄TheTigers〄 Just responded to your other comment. If you can describe more clearly what's actually happening, it might be possible to figure out what is going on. Our LG Optimus G is running 4.1.2, and even though the flip technique never worked, the lock/unlock technique did (and does) work.

bdckr gaming I messed around with a few things and figured it out. At first I was tapping on the bronze pack like 3 times, but that was taking too long and the game would open, and give me a bronze because I didn't have enough time. So I tried tapping on it once, and after a few tries I got it!! Now I have a scorpion! Thank you guys so much!!!

Tim Dillard Yes, but it would be difficult to get to that point.
There are triggers that will auto-ban you from playing MP/online mode. For example, having an unreleased character, elite level past VII, level past 50 ... all those will trigger an auto-ban. There are also resources that, if you exceed an unknown value, will also get you auto-banned. Power credits and energy recharges are likely candidates, but we don't know the actual numbers that will trigger it. If you don't go much higher than 10 million credits, you are unlikely to get banned.
Bottom line: we have never gotten banned for using any of the glitches that we've posted. But that's no guarantee.
