Not sure if it’s wholesome or depressing but it’s really cool to live vicariously through these videos of like a family life healthy and happy it’s like looking into an alternate universe of what could have been in comparison to my own life. I don’t know if that makes sense lol. But I love these

I’ve been watching you both since 2011 and never once commented but you mentioned the other day about what people do while watching your videos and I wanted to say something. I’m only 22 but I’ve had chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia since I was 12 so there are days where I can just about get breakfast and brush my teeth and then I’m absolutely done, sometimes I can’t even get that far, for that reason I’m unemployed and often feel like I’m so far behind in life and basically useless, I’m in the UK so the vlogs come out in the afternoon but I always save them for the morning while I’m having breakfast. Watching you, whether you’re being productive or just chilling is often the thing that motivates me to make more of my day or just go one step further than I think I can and do something on my to-do list before resting, and for that I thank you. Even watching you play your table games in the evening made me customise a ‘Jenga’ into a drinking game and put people from my school days into ‘Guess Who’ and invite my girls round this last weekend and it was so lovely :) x

The Lion King musical is the best musical I've ever seen! It's so beautifully done and the costumes are outrageous, especially the puppetry aspect of the show. If you get a chance, it's definitely worth it. I've probably seen 6 or 7 musicals and the only one I've seen more than once is The Lion King because it's perfection
I wonder if Ottie ever wonders why mom and dad are always talking to themselves, into a camera?

It just feels like one of those says you look back at and have a bit of a laugh

You definitely should go see Matilda on the west end - it is honestly SO SO SO GOOD. It is my favourite musical ever ever ever, the kids are just having so much fun and the music is amazing, Tim Minchin’s lyrics are genius, and ah, it’s just sublime.

And then, a nice, family Sunday BBQ. You all called it with the quick rain! Alfie holding half of the umbrella over the table was funny. Do you not have holes in the middle of the table so that the umbrella can sit over the table? Later at home, the evening light was lovely and golden. Great day.

Not sure when these are next touring but if you ever get a chance to see the musicals kinky boots or newsies they are both a must see! Billy Elliot will however always remain my favourite.
