The problem here is that the saved PDF file is not a high enough resolution. Thanks for showing the print crop bleed settings but I can't see using a pdf file where you can't set the quality. Mine was not even 1MB.
At 1:56. For me, there is no option to select 'MICROSOFT PRINT to PDF' in the print setting dialogue. Only to my default printer. I am using photoshop on a Mac.
My printer wasn't connected so I guess that's why it was showing microsoft print to pdf. If you have a printer connected then by default it will show your printer. You can go to print settings and then select pdf to save as a pdf file.
Could you help please, everytime I try to save my artwork doing it the print method way, my image turns out to be darker but when I save it as a pdf instead of print saving the colours match how it originally looks on photoshop? I’m so confused 😓
@@TheDesignersLaw thank you I just figured it out last night it was because the printer was choosing the colour handling but I change it to photoshops colour handling thanks again!!
Hello, and thank you for sharing the video. You have my "thumbs up". But, would you be able to help a little bit further, here? Adding bleed marks around is pretty straightforward as you managed to explain. Now, imagine doing and printing a folder/flyer which require 1 or 2 or more foldes in the paper. You'll also need to indicate these lines in there, with marks. Is there such a way to do it? Thank you!
can you make one on text? how to outline text for print in photoshop? and also how to flatten effects ( like we flatten drop shadow in adobe illustrator)
@@TheDesignersLaw I did. The crop marks were outside the document size... I had to not but in 3mm but a higher number to they would appear at the edge of the document.
Is there any way to make pixels of image flow perpendicular to the free form vector path to be used as die cut to make real bleeds in Photoshop? Like it's done in ua-cam.com/video/x5lkRyjX00I/v-deo.html Do not refer to Gauss blur, please, it does not suit the needs.
If I go on Print. It wants to print. I can't save the document.
When you click the print button then it should give you a option to save it as a pdf.

You can change it to a large page size to get a higher resolution
Thankyou
Thank you, I tried this and it worked even though I was working in inches. However, the crop marks never showed up. 😞
Did you check the corner crop marks box in the print setting ?

Check whether its RGB or CMYK. Also check color profile.

Right click on your layer and click 'rasterize layer style'.
Thanks bru
What the hell did he say at :57 seconds regarding horizontal. If you want it horizontal...DO WHAT???
Doesn't work. Crop marks are off the printable area. A4 paper with a canvas increase of 3mm each side.
Follow the instructions properly.

Hell yeah thanks big dog
This only works if you're willing and able to enlarge your art and lose the edge detail (i.e. let it get trimmed off during the print process).
Yes, that's why we need to plan according to that before creating the document.
the key functions to use here I cannot hear your pronounciation.
hear or understand ?
@@TheDesignersLaw haha you can trust my English, HEAR....cause you not articulate well enough.
