- We visited Pallant House Gallery to see Hockney to Himid: 60 Years of British Printmaking exhibition! We then headed back to the Handprinted Studio to make a print inspired by what we saw there.

Hi Holly I'm really enjoying your videos on printing and I was wondering if you think that it would be possible to use a screen printing to transfer an image to a lino block I was curious about weather the ink would stick or if you could use one of those really fat wide tipped permanent markers to go over the screen to transfer the images to the lino block what do you think?

Did I miss a step? You made the design with the dyes on a plastic sheet and left it to dry overnight and then took a print from it? How did you do that if it was dry?
The paper that you print with is damp so it releases the ink during the print process as it is put through the press.
i have been using speedball professional inks, sometimes I have noticed that the inks loose their sheen. Are there any additives or varnishes etc to be used to help keep the sheen?
We don't stock the Speedball Professional Inks so I can't advise, sorry
Can you take a print from a drypoint etched plate using a handprint method? ie with a hand baren Or if not, using a WoodZilla hand press please? Thank you, your video tutorials are excellent and really helpful. Frances
