I watched all of it with an open mind bc i unabashedly love Ben Affleck and I'd watch him paint a house 😂 but, it was just not good and it was kind of like watching Ben slowly being psychologically tortured. She didn't care that it made her new husband wildly uncomfortable, she will never be content with someone just simply loving her. She wants to live in the butterfly tummy, honeymoon stage forever and it's just not sustainable. On top of all that, she funded the whole project and then no one wanted it, rightfully so. I'm not sure she can recover from it tbh. She should stick to what she's good at, vapid romcoms that project what she wants in a partner.

It was in bad taste to make a self celebratory movie of this nature when both of these people have children from previous relationships. Keeping love letters from one another while you were raising whole families with other people then flaunting in their faces in front of the world. No wonder Ben was humiliated especially when the projects all flopped and became coded for online banter just like Gigli all those years ago. Anyone should have seen this coming. They were caught up in nostalgia, the pandemic had everyone at home bored watching celebs carry on through our screens. It got old fast; even for the celebs in question.

Ben should take some blame for this too. After Jennifer's relationship with Alex Rodriguez ended. Ben was reaching out to her. Then a year later he proposes to her. I believe he was going through something. His relationship with that actress had ended. His ex wife Jennifer Garner had moved on. He must have felt lonely. And seeing how Jennifer Lopez was single at the time. She went after her. And of course he loved her enough to support her with that documentary and movie. But definitely didn't expect to be humiliated when she was sharing those letters to the her team and the world. Ben seems to have alot of issues he needs to work on. And the same goes for Jennifer who continues to hop in these relationships without thinking how it effects her kids. Then she had the nerve to blame her failed relationships/marriages on her own parent's marriage. Like, what is wrong with her? Take some responsibility for the fact that you need therapy and focus on loving yourself. I feel sorry for her kids. Maybe there's a reason why we always see her daughter with her and not her son. He's probably fed up with his mom.

I made the comment there wondering what was so different 20 years later.

I think Jennifer Lopez just can't see the pattern of pop culture. Even if you are talented and have a unique style you're still probably not going to be a mainstream success after 10 years because pop culture moves on. But if you cultivate a fanbase you'll still have a career because your fans will grow up with you and keep buying your stuff and coming to see you. But J.Lo's never bothered to build a connection, she still wants to just be that mainstream pop girl like she was 20 years ago.

She feels so important and thinks it’s a privilege for anyone who meets her, therefore they must pay a ton of cash to be near her presence. But unfortunately even with all the signs and evidence of a failed project she still feels like the world owes her something and they should worship the floor she walks on. Those type of people never learn. All that does to their ego is to crave even more attention and she will find new ways to stay relevant.

We all knew this relationship wasn’t going to last, I feel like their relationship was way too public and nothing was really kept private. I mean who makes a documentary, movie, and an album about their relationship??? JLO likes being in the spotlight and likes having many aspects of her life public, but Ben doesn’t like that. He mentioned in the documentary that he’s a more private person. I’m not surprised that they separated 2 months after that documentary came out. We’ve all known for months that they were separated, as Ben moved out months ago and they both started looking for separate homes. I can’t imagine how hard this is on their kids, considering that they blended their families together. Ben and JLO should’ve never gotten back together, it was clear from the start that it wasn’t going to work out.
