Indeed, Olena. Imagine an ordinary citizen captured who is a murderer (overwhelming evidence etc) and we ask them to participate in a conference or vote in some government process - outrageous! They need to be questioned, charged, tried and if found guilty, imprisoned - have their freedom removed. They cannot just carry on as if they are an innocent person!
This is what is happening. How to stop it - without escalation? I hope that right now someone is working on that.
I have to admit, I don't understand the UN allowing Russia to even remain on the security council. It is like a sad, insulting irony.

A great video Olena! The concept of permanent members that can't be removed and have veto power over resolutions is certainly a weakness of the UN. But that deal was made at a different time in the world and I'm not sure whether it can ever be rectified. To be sure, the U.S. has used it's veto power to block resolutions as well, but something so egregious as what Russia is doing should result in their removal from the UN. It's a shame that this possibility wasn't factored in with the UN charter.

Agreeing completely, there is no place in the U.N. for the terrorist state of russ. It makes no sense for that terrorist nation to be in the U.N., given the mission statement of the United Nations and taking into account all the terrorist nation of russ' many violations and atrocities committed against the peaceful Nation of Ukraine (and, know this for certain, the terrorist nation would commit those crimes against humanity anywhere and everywhere; poor Ukraine just has the misfortune of being that terrible terrorist nation's neighbor).
