- इतिहास के पन्नों में कंफर्ट वुमेन उन महिलाओं को कहा जाता है, जिन्हें जापान के सैनिकों ने अपने कंफर्ट के लिए इस्तेमाल किया था। इन्हें आप एक तरह के S*** slaves कह सकते है। जापान ने कई देशों में कंफर्ट वुमेन्स को कैद करके रखा हुआ था। इन महिलाओं को एक छोटे से ब्लॉक, कमरे या कोठे में रखा जाता था, जहां शाम होते ही जापानी सैनिकों का जमावड़ा लगना शुरू हो जाता था। हर महिला के साथ जापानी सैनिक दुष्कर्म किया करते थे और एक ही रात में महिलाओं के साथ 30 से 40 बार बर्बरता की जाती थी। कई सालों तक महिलाओं को ऐसे कोठों ही कोठो में रखा जाता था। कंफर्ट वुमेन की कहानी वैसे तो सन 1910 से ही शुरू हो जाती है, लेकिन इसका असली इतिहास सन 1937 से माना जाता है। कंफर्ट वुमेन के बारे में जानने से पहले आपको जापान के इतिहास के बारे मे थोड़ी जानकारी देते है।
