This is one of my all-time favorite shows. This and Landscape Artist of the Year. Couldn’t have gotten through the Pandemic without them! So much fun to watch other artists as they move through the heats. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.
BRAVO 👏!!! NOAH RUSH 👏!!! You were my pick from the beginning after seeing your incredible self-portrait. Comedians are historically very complex personalities. Their bread and butter are to make people laugh and have a good time. What stands out for me is how you captured the dark temperamental side of Comedians. I don't know, Alex Brooker, but your portrait captures the beautiful and absolute powerful likelihood of a pissed off Brooker. I wouldn't want to be the waiter mixing up one of his orders!!! It's a fantastic tour de force painting. Full of DON CORLEONE Godfather DNA. You have an amazing talent, and the name NOAH RUSH will be headlines in the art world. Cheers!!! Congratulations to the judges.
If a portrait is supposed to capture the likeness of the sitter Michael should have won. Can't remember the Lady who did the pencil portrait but it obviously touched the sitter . Didn't agree with the judges but then because I'm looking at what I like and know very little about 'style' which seems to be what matters. A disappointment for my book.
@@sungoddiss which one would you have chosen? I would have not chosen Noah... His huge self portrait wasn't even that strong... Perhaps they chose him because is young and just starting his career... But if that's the case then that's clear display of ageism
It looks like the three judges come from different backgrounds and they're looking at different things so maybe they all pick one and then they get to pick one from their choices which is why the choice always seems odd but I think in this case they picked the young artist because he is just starting and they saw some talent in him even though Michael and a few more had a better painting... Which once were your three favorite and which one would you have picked as the "winner"?
Michael's was the best, and I'm surprised they didn't even chose his painting for the three finalists, but I noticed some animosity towards him as they were talking about his self portrait kind of mocking it for the symbolism and the expression. The disdain and animosity can also be seen when one of the judges approached Michael and said that his painting didn't project confidence even though it clearly did, and that the painting was only bones trying to put it down... that harsh criticism seemed to have come from a very biased and prejudiced place, it makes it seem like these judges are a bit racist and for some reason they just didn't like Michael they obviously didn't want him to win. That's what I don't like about this show, they know who they want to win from the beginning and they do everything they can to manipulate the competition so that's why they pick the less strong portraits next to the painting of that particular person that they want as the winner, I could be wrong, but the more I see the show the more I see the strategy and the competition is definitely rigged it's not about talent and it's definitely not even about skill, my best guess (to give the judges the benefit of the doubt) is that they probably picked Noah the younger artist, because he's just starting his career, he is only 18, but if that's the case then that is a clear demonstration of ageism which is a blatant form of discrimination against older people.
I agree, if the focal point is to encourage young artists then have ONLY young unestablished artists competing. It would be nice to be able to see the progress in young artists. It would also be nice to see established artists compete, some previous winners have done outstanding work.

Who wins never really interests me! I take so much enjoyment watching each artist paint, as well as taking in the critique of the judges. Great show!
I could have an episode like that every day for the whole year. Love the sitters, the artists, the jury, the presentors. Love from The Netherlands
Me, too. But, I'd like to see them rotate judges! so tired of these three.
I agreed with everything 😊. This show is a delight and a reliable hour well spent.
Neil is totally gorgeous and talented - all are so talented. Great episode
I love this series! Keep them coming! USA

The first and only time I am in agreement with the Finalists and Winner.
Bravo Noah! A great painting. I still felt Michael should have been in the final three.
Ty😊
The judges went for the self-portrait, not the sitter painting. But it was a great self-portrait. I would hang it on my wall any day.
WHAT they had srew at the end, didn't they

Poor Lulu, she is so much more beautifull
Terrible paintings of Lulu I’m sure she didn’t know what to think .
No.Dont agree.
Which 3 would have been your choices and which one would you have picked as the final?
I don't agree with their choices either
@@celebratelife8436 I would not have chose Noah as the ultimate winner in this heat.

Horrible choice again. And again. And again.

@@jillp3761 exactly 💯 there's no point in having a mixed age group of artists in the competition if only the young ones have the upper hand
I like the show but your still a vulture
Please find "MasterChef Uk Professionals"🙏 It will be most delightful 🥰
