Saw a random meme online: *"There is a new ride at the water park I work at. On this ride you're standing in a closed tube, and when the lifeguard pulls a lever, the floor collapses, and you go rushing down a closed slide.* *One time when I was working the slide, this girl gets in and says 'Pull the lever, Kronk!' And as soon as the ride sends her down, I hear her shout 'WRONG LEVER...!' At first I was confused, but then I remembered."* That meme made my day.
It’s actually the water trying to get away and not touch her. Have you seen how ugly she is. The water would definitely tryed to separate and after she fell into the water the water gave up and reunited with the ground (or, just more water)
Think of it this way. This means that she and Kronk had to learn multiple languages and get perfect pronunciation for each, all because Kron pulled the wrong lever, making the trial amd error of pulling the right lever longer than the actual coaster ride. The water couldn't just let such comedic precision slip by, so it showed up to all their rehearsals, even filling in that one time when the croc couldn't make it on stage because he ordered food and the delivery driver couldn't find the school, where in a master stoke of improvisational genius, the water performed the line, then scurried all the way around to the other side, so Izma would have someone to backhand, then scamper off stage. I respect this water. Severe dedication to their craft.
Italian: "Abbassa la leva, Kronk" "L'ALTRA LEVA!!!!!!!!!" "Ma perchè dobbiamo avere due leve?" "Pull down the lever, Kronk" "THE OTHER LEVER!!!!!!" "Just why do we need to have two levers?"
A few years ago, I was at a resort with a huge waterpark inside. Lots of slides with those giant four person tubes, a lazy river, the works. But there was this one slide there where you stepped inside this capsule that closed around you. From there, you'd hear a countdown and a trapdoor would open underneath you and you'd go shooting down the slide. When it was my turn, I was scared out of my mind, but right before I dropped, I remembered to say "Pull the lever, Kronk", and shout "Wrong lever!" as I was falling down. Didn't make it any less scary, but good timing regardless.
WHat I find so immensly fascinating is just how *many* version there are of that simple little sound Kronk makes! There was always a little bit of variety, and while many might just have been because of the actor, some where clearly cultural differences. I adore small details like that!
