I Spent 200 HOURS Building my Easy Demon!

- In this video, I pick up where I left off on my level Glorious fortress. Last episode I spent 100 hours on this level, and now I bring that to 200.
This level goes crazy, way bigger project than I ever thought it would be lol. I'm even just gonna have to straight up skip 300 hours but there should be 1 more episode of this at 400 or 500. Might be a few months but look forward to that eventually.
I'm a little less proud of this than 100 hours but I think it's still a pretty good video. There was a bit less to work with plot wise. Hope you guys enjoy tho :)

Even though I don't really play Geometry Dash anymore, I will never cease to be amazed by the sheer detail that goes into levels like these. Amazing job!

I gotta take a moment to just appreciate the astronomical amount of work you put into the smallest details, just because it looks cooler. Less than 10% of people who play the level in the future will be aware of the amount of work it takes to make these things, yet you do it anyway, and I commend you for that. Once again, awesome video and nice editing as well.
I literally bought geometry dash on my pc and grinded it just to be good enough to enjoy this level and beat it lol. That's literally how good it looks and how fun the gameplay looks to do. (I was right this is an amazing level)

Watching this has given me 100x more respect for creators. Wow this takes so much more effort than I thought it did. Can't wait for 300 hours!
tbf most creators don't spend this level of work on stuff but there are others that do. Nacho, Mayerosa, yoreid (as of recently), and big time JonathanGD to name a few. Zylenox also used to spend a ton of time on his levels.
There's also a lot of creators that consistently spend like 50-100ish hours on their levels
some creators will just constantly grind out stuff in like 10 hours per level tho
You know, this has given me more confidence in my building skills. I'm not bad at building, just lazy, because there is no way in hell I would ever have the patience to spend this much time on a level. Serious respect for the amount of time you're putting into this, it's certainly paying off!
Hey man it's a muscle you build over time. I used to be super bad at committing to anything. When I spent 75 hours on Autumn Travel that already felt like an absurd amount of time and I was already a lot better at that point than I'd used to be.

Hey Jam! Do you plan on adding anything to the black void at 23:07? So much black room doesn’t really fit with the rest of the level so putting a wall would look much cooler imo.

i think your transition into the ball is very cool, but i think after it breaks you could make the parts of the portal fade out a bit? idk if this is a good idea as im not a creator myself but i think it looks a tiny bit weird just sitting there. other than that this level looks great so far and im excited to see the finished product

This levels gameplay and deco are amazing the gameplay is very consistent, I suck at the game but the gameplay still was great and very fun and it got very consistent very fast, the deco looks great from what we can see from these videos to , also great vid :)

Only slight optimisation could be to add more contrast between that flower pot and the background in the ball part because its kinda hard to differentiate it from the deco
The amount of time you put into your levels is just incredible. I would never have the patience to do this.

Seeing your process to create this level is interesting. I see myself very reflected in the sense that there are times when I am simply not satisfied with what I build and restart everything. I have also made it a habit to write down the ideas of what I am looking for from the level within the same editor since it is very helpful when it comes to giving it the identity I am looking for. There are also times when I start looking at levels from other creators to inspire and motivate me more when creating.
I hope the level goes well, and if it's an easy demon, then it won't be a problem to complete it since obviously I will have to try a level that looks so good.
yeah you spend insane amounts of time on your levels from the looks of things, there's def a balance of trying to get things right but also being satisfied with it being good enough and just improving the next thing

This level is SOO COOL! YOUR STYLE IS CLEANNN.
A lot of people seems kinda underestimated the power of movements and pulses that can elevates the energy of the song that used for your level, adding more intensity as the level progresses, and makes the level feels more dynamic that can be good for music representation as well. Also good parallax adding the sense of depths for the level and not a lot of ppl using them very often. Small and subtle details like that really adds up to the whole level, even a lot of ppl wouldn't really care or notice them while playing the level. The only creator that I could think of actually do all fo these kind of stuff with extra time and effort is probably only you and Jonathan. Can't wait to see this level finished! ❤

Love the less intense look of this level for sure! Most harder levels are very hard for me to track where the player is due to so much going on so its great to see something a bit more relaxing

Just one little thing, you should make some flashing glows in that hidden coin path to make it a little bit more obvious, so not so attentive people can find the coin more easily instead of being a headache to find
The rest is so cool! Just a little bit of more energy in that Victoria's courtyard and it will be fine

yeah it does feel kinda weird.
something I would have done is making the background individual tiles bigger than the foreground ones, it would look easier in the eyes.
then of course throw some hanging vines and some very cool lighthing effects and maybe some dust, fire or grass particles flying around and that would look perfect
still I really love how it turned out at the end (specially the wooden box deco for the single blocks), thats just my personal tought. (don't know why I felt the need to comment this :^)

Can’t wait for the release, I actually had this idea for this part where spears and other objects are getting hurled at the player and the player escapes by flips a switch lowering a drawbridge and escaping, however this probably won’t be added

Great video man! just one thing I wanted to mention is that there was some text that said before the really fast buffering part, that says “thou shalt buffer” and shalt actually means should not So you could try shall instead? Just might wanna fix that before the level comes out officially.
