This is a great Flickerstick show. It is not perfect. Far from it. Broken strings and bum notes certainly rear their ugly head, but the energy of the band and crowd are palpable.
Some of the songs you'll hear: Believe, Catholic Scars, Pistol, Acquiesce by Oasis, Bleeding, Teenage Dope Fiend, Chloroform, Coke, Sorry, Beautiful, Smile, Direct Line, and more. There is also some backstage footage (you have to stick around until the end).

One of the greatest bands I've seen live and one of my all-time favorites. It's still crazy Flickerstick never made it to the biggest levels because they had everything. The look, the energy, the music. This was the perfect combination of the band too. Wish I could reverse the clock to see these guys at this time.

watching again. again I ask.. how did this band not reach the highest levels possible? NOBODY has ever made music like this. their style is unique to them. it is wild to me I havent been able to find a band that I love as much as this since them. I like new stuff but it just doesnt hit like this
Acquiesce cover... Mind absolutely blown! This footage is absolutely superb showcasing a band at the absolute peak of their powers. There's not many bands around any more that has that ability to create that huge sound.
Loud distortion and thunder bass
I only knew of flickerstick through Bands on the Run...I loved that show and the right band won obviously. I used to tell/ask everyone if they'd seen it and never met anyone who had but when they came through Columbus Ohio I was there with roughly 1,500 other fans and it was a great time. I rank these lads up there with Butch Walker/The Marvelous 3 and Jon Oszajca in no particular order as my top3 underrated bands of my times.
My god this may be the best live version of bleeding I’ve ever heard 😲.
Thanks Mike!
Bleeding is my favorite Flickerstick song and it’s just fucking epic live. Probably has a lot to do with why it’s my favorites. Has to be in every set. This version is incredible.
Love Flickerstick! I’ve never seen another band bring it the way these guys do. So grateful for last summer’s reunion shows. 🔥🔥
Saw these guys like 14-15 times between ‘01-‘07. I’ve been bummed for the last decade + because there’s not a lot of good quality live Flickerstick stuff on UA-cam. Then out of the blue…..multiple full shows!!!!! Been a blast watching these shows!!! I was at every Philly, Baltimore, NY show for 7 years. One of my favorite live bands of all-time. And I’ve been to literally 600-700 shows (I’m old). Much love to whoever posted this stuff. And of course much love to the mighty Flickerstick!!! Great memories!
Follow our Facebook! We are playing again.

Pro shot footage! Wow!!! We need a Blu-Ray of this with extras. Such an underrated band.
Wow thanks!
i was there... i know that you guys were there, and that's totally sweet, but I was there also. though that you would want to know. maybe you already knew I was there.
We came there to see you
@@FlickerstickOfficial You just happened you have all of your musical gear and thought, "what the hell."
This is amazing!!! This takes me back to so many great memories. I can’t wait for the reunion show 6/25!
Boom!
This is fantastic. Such a great live band. I LOVE all these videos being uploaded. Really incredible to see this footage.
Appreciate that!
Woah! Another “new” song at 25:30!! So awesome. Thanks for putting this up. Can’t wait until June!
That's 'Dandy'. Superb track that I wish there was a studio version of. This is better quality than the London version that was uploaded a while back.
55:50 -- Rex singing on a cover of "Acquiesce" -- something I've never seen before and I've went back three times to watch it again. Holy shit.
And his shirt is incredible.
One and only time we played it I think.
Just awesome!
Thanks!
Such a great band and even better live band .They had great stage chemistry . I saw them a few times in OKC . I can remember one were Brandin climbed the light rigging at a outdoor festival and second time was with the amazing opening act Doosu from Dallas !!! Freaking incredible .
The drummer of Doosu, Todd Harwell, is in Flickerstick now.
I went to every OKC and Tulsa show with my aunt and cousin. It was a great time every time.
I'm in that crowd! I love and miss these boys so much! I'm still sharing their music with people as if they are brand new.
Thanks! Just tell ‘em “brand new to you”
I was here for this! What a great night! Thank you for posting this!
Awesome! You’re very welcome
My favourite American band covering my favourite British band. Only ever seen a cover of fade into you. My day has been made - watched it twice!!!!!!! Thanks!
This is awesome. Saw them here in Philly and it's still one of my all time favorite shows. But this makes me wonder how many "new" songs have we not heard Cory 🤔
Probably a lot
@@FlickerstickOfficial Can we hear them 😀. But I do want to say glad the friendships are back. Wish I could be there. Can't wait for the dvd/bluray and hopefully more releases. Have fun
I saw you guys live once, at the Mercury Lounge in Manhattan, I think also in 2003, and it was right after Todd had joined. It was, and I cannot stress this enough, one of the top 3 shows, still, that I have been to in my nearly 43 years of life. Afterwards all of you just hung out at the bar, where I thanked all of you profusely, and drunkenly told Todd specifically because 1) he was fantastic and 2) he had just started, that he, and I quote, "kicked my ass." At first he was like "oh shit man I'm sorry" as if we had gotten in a bar fight 😂 I had to explain I was speaking metaphorically -- he got it, lmao. really, REALLY excited that I get to see all of you together with Dominic live in a few months and hope Todd is doing great!
The curtain club was amazing. I was at this show and it's the one i remember the most (Aside from another one in Denton which I THINK was at Rubber gloves.... i can't remember) This is easily my favorite upload so far. Thank you Cory and Flickerstick!
Love that you love it. Was not the easiest edit.
Groovy Mule in Denton maybe? We were at that one.
This is amazing!!!!!!
Thanks!
this was great. @Cory, I love the enthusiasm for Tarantula tracks and your call out intro of Pistol mentioned here. Do you still think it's the stand out track on Tarantula? I have a hard time ranking any song above Never Enough or The Ones... Although the guitar solo on P.I.M.H is a gem.
To be fair, The Ones wasn’t a flick song yet
@@FlickerstickOfficial fair enough!
Amazing show. The famous who the fu&$ is Brandin Lea shirt worn by Rex
OASIS!!!
Yessir
I think the date on this is wrong. Should be September 5, 2001, as that is me running the lights with the Technobeams. I wasn’t running them by 2003, and they were not working by late 2002.
This is definitely 2003. The setlist proves this as many of the songs played weren't even written until Summer 2002 and weren't added to live sets until late 2002/early 2003.
@@FlickerstickOfficial Yep. Catholic Scars and Pistol were later. I can't remember if I did this show or not. Looks like all the lighting cues were what I did while I was out with you...unless Troy did it...
Amazballz
Do you have the soundboard audio to sync with this? Great show thanks for uploading.
No unfortunately not.
The aughts!
Feels like 20 years ago
Was this the show with Phantom Planet and Ruby Horse?
No this was much later.
@@FlickerstickOfficial Oh word. That was an epic show though. Drunk Jason Schwartzman was a riot. 😎
I was at that show, I ended up with Phantom Planet's set list but long gone now.
Cory, what Orange is that??? AD30???
Exactly. It’ll get fired up again on 6/25!
@@FlickerstickOfficial Nice! Love that amp. You always had a great ear for tone...
