  • Join Sean from Simply NUC as he provides a walkthrough of the inside of the Lenovo P360 Ultra ThinkStation and gives step-by-step directions on the GPU installation. The P360 Ultra's tool-less design makes accessing and installing components a cinch.
    Additionally, upgrading your GPU can give you a big performance boost when gaming, editing or doing anything else that is heavily reliant on graphics processing.

    Nice. Can't wait to drop a *RTX 4000 SFF* in one of these bad boys... In about 5 years, on their 2nd re-sell for 20% of rrp ;-)

    Cool Thing. Could you also show how it looks like when a "K" CPU is installed? Especially what expandability is left if the "K" CPU is installed. I understood that then it comes with a bigger cooling solution

    Lenovo sells a power cable kit so that you can run a low profile GPU that requires additional power above the 75W the PCIe rail. Can you confirm the white connection toward the back of the PCIe rail is that connection source?

    I have got a slot to add a new video card NVIDIA RTX A2000 into the free pcie slot of this unit but the CPU heatsink takes the room where the card should go. I cannot find any infos nor solutions about that on the web. I'm confused. The CPU main heatsink takes all the room, so why is there a free slot if we cannot replace the cpu heatsink for a smaller one ? If someone can help me, i would appreciate that much ! Thanks for time !

    So does this mean you can't install a T1000 card if the machine has a 13900K CPU?

    At about 0:48, you point out the additional dimm slots. Next to those, there looks like an additional PCIe x16 slot. Is that what it is? I want to put two half height x8 cards into this computer. Would that work?

    Question: Can the CPU be upgraded?

    • @simplynuc
      @simplynuc  10 місяців тому +1

      The P360 Ultra has a socketed processor that allows for future upgrades. Typically the processors are soldered down on the smaller units.

    Hey Simply NUC!
    I'm sitting here with a P360 and A2000 GPU, but I am missing a PCIe socket as described in the video. Could you provide me with the name of this socket?

    Hi There thanks for a great video. Needed some help with this unit. I have one with the NVidia TX1000 however wanted to check how I can install an additional PCIe cards. Any help would be appreciated. Where you have no GPU in your video [2:21] I do have a large CPU it seems - I could be wrong in my understanding but looks like looks like the space is taken up by this.

      It seems i have the same problem > no room to add a graphic card. Didi you find a smaller CPU heatskink in order to free the room ?
