How is it living in a shipping container Jesse? My daughter is OBSESSED with moving from NY and living in a shipping container down South.
@@rasheedahtalib2361 I have a 40 standard height and it's perfect size for me (wish I had the high cube). I def recommend finishing yourself so you know its done correctly, several places sell finished container homes and I found some things I wouldn't like (insulation type and install, framing touching the metal, etc)
Living in it without the insulation complete for the past year was a beast, the summer makes it an oven and the cold makes it almost impossible to heat, the condensation is a big problem. Getting the framing and spray foam insulation done quickly is important but you generally need the electrical and plumbing done as well so the spray foam can fill in around.
Also, 2" spray foam should be the minimum and the framing should not be touching the metal walls.
