My great great grandfather was from Ærø but unfortunately when he moved to Australia, he stopped speaking Danish because English was the dominant language. Currently it has been lost from my family. I am 50yrs old and trying to learn it so I can teach future grandchildren.
Appreciate you man! I am learning hoping to reside in your wonderful country in the future (and trying to impress a danish gal I met when I was just visiting CPH XD)
Hey! Do you have any videos on how to verbally spell out words in Danish? It would also be useful to know how to spell out things like email addresses and web domains. I still have trouble hearing the difference between some of the vowels like "a" and "æ" as well as "e" and "i."
Man i love ur vídeos ..I am studying. And I'm going to subscribe...I like it a lot...practical and practical..i am from Mexico My friend...My goal is to learn Danish and German I want to go to Rotterdam and Denmark for a while
E is pronounced more with an “ey” sound whereas “I” is with the English E sound “EE”. And A is the same as English but Æ is with an “eh” sound and O is more so and “ouh” sound and Å is kind of an “auh” sound
I asked my dad once when I was little what our people use to wear to keep warm and he said ... Yak I thought he meant the animal. Now I SEE what he meant.
You will find the soft d many times at the end of words, such as "bad" which means "bath." The soft d is pronounced by pushing the tongue out, almost like you do when pronouncing the th at the end of the word "bath." The soft d is not represented in the alphabet; it is just part of pronunciation rules.
bem dificil aprender um novo idioma quando o narrador esta mais interessado em narrar sexo do que propriamente transmitir o conhecimento. Haja paciencia pra criança brincando na internet.

Hi, thank you for your video. What's the difference in pronunciation of: e og i, a og æ, o og å. Show to pronounce them correctly?👍🏻
E is pronounced more with an “ey” sound whereas “I” is with the English E sound “EE”. And A is the same as English but Æ is with an “eh” sound and O is more so and “ouh” sound and Å is kind of an “auh” sound
I hope that helps!

Is there one one "R" variety in Danish?
@@cjthemimic4411 thanks
Thank you, well made. The 'e' in "men" and "fem" is pronounced as 'æ' and not 'e'.

What is a cyklus? More than one bicycle?
A "cyklus" is a "cycle", nothing to do with bicycles. Bicycles in Danish is this: One cykel, two cykler.
A cyklus is something that reapeats over and over.
Danish
I reckon tak must mean thanks. tak. Hmm...why have an o and an A with a halo? They have the same sound! !Wild! Ha ha
They don't have the same sound.

Dansk er det smukkeste sprog i verden, det lyder svært, men det er slet ikke svært.
