This is one of the best tutorial videos I have ever seen, I never knew that inkscape has multiple fill option like that! This is amazing that you made such editable text design with inkscape, I thought only Illustrator is capable of doing so.
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled to hear that you found the tutorial helpful. Inkscape has definitely come a long way, and version 1.3 introduced some fantastic features for text design. It's always great to see how powerful and versatile open-source software can be!
You've provided a clear tutorial on creating editable comic text in Inkscape. Can you share any tips for overcoming common bugs or errors that learners might encounter when following these steps?
Yep, when you try to duplicate the editable text and edit it in one files, it ends up connected to the first thing's parent. So here's the trick: 1. Start by create a new file in Inkscape. 2. Now, copy whatever you want to work on from your old doc and paste it into this new one. 3. Do your text edits right there in the new doc. 4. Once you're done, you can then safely copy it back into the old doc. Just like in my first intro, where I had three text (Kapow!,Zap!,Smack!) in one files.
I love your tutorials. Can u make a tutorial how to make drinking cup? Cup with ice in it top on it, cup with whipped cream on top with a top on it, alcohol beverages, coffee cup with coffee in it
Awesome tutorial, thanks! I really like how you did the comic balloon effect.
Thanks, Brandon! Your tutorial really helped me make this.

with two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda?
Great tutorial, maybe you need to make the text alignment to the center
Noted!
So you have to hit space twice to apply the effects to the new letters, did I hear that correctly?
space, then backspace
