removing honda rotor screws with basic tools

This is how to remove rotor screws on Honda and Acura cars without using an impact driver (special tool). Removed with a punch and hammer

This is great in a pinch but the proper tool is great to have in the toolbox. I ended up getting an impact driver with a P3 bit for $40 at advance auto. Really makes the job effortless and can be used on any stuck screws you come across around the house too

The proper tool is called the JIS #3 screwdriver it stands for Japan Industrial Screws although it looks like a regular Phillips screw it is definitely not and will get stripped using it ,Amazon sells these special screwdrivers which has a metal cap to smack it with a hammer to easily remove these stubborn screw
