People make fun of Michelle and her falling etc. but girl knew it was a job and treated it as such. When someone else's dads the manager you know where you stand. Sad Farrah had to find that out. She's not that bad a singer, but the way they did that girl was just wrong. I think it hurt her deeply and that's why she brings it up so much. But it's good she's trying to move on. She was the curly hair Latina from New York, and was considered the 'sexy' member. And Naturi was 'Kelly Rowland/Mary J Bligne'. Kelly for her style, Mary for her great soulful voice.
Remember what they said about being the little D. C. sort of how Voices (and which is funny Tia and Tamara were part of that group) back in the day was like the little Envogue. The thing is that Kiely wanted to be lead, but I think Naturi and Adrienne ended up being the more popular of the group.

Naturi was so classy, mature and well spoken also. Kiely came off as a spoiled brat with no manners. The group had no chance of surviving with her attitude towards Naturi.

The point I made which is clear is that if they really were all serious about going somewhere with the group why not put your best foot forward, get to know the girls and take it serious. I'm sure there were many other girls who would have loved to be in kiely's spot and took it serious. Kiely probably acts like that because she knew her mom managed the group so she probably feels like she doesn't have any consequences and can do what she wants.

They had Andretta Tillman and later Matthew Knowles. They knew not to act like fools no matter how much shade they through at each other and in some videos you can see it, but they kept it moving.
People make fun of Michelle and her falling etc. but girl knew it was a job and treated it as such. When someone else's dads the manager you know where you stand. Sad Farrah had to find that out. She's not that bad a singer, but the way they did that girl was just wrong. I think it hurt her deeply and that's why she brings it up so much. But it's good she's trying to move on. I've NEVER once heard them sing three-part harmony when they sang live, even acapella. Kiely had that baby voice that blended better with Adrienne's baby soul voice, but Naturi definitely had the more mainstream R&B sound. I think Kiely's saving grace, for me, was that she was the best dancer in the group, but gosh, her youth and naivete here is probably the impetus for the end of the group.

People don't realize that Matthew Knowles was not the original manager of Destiny's Child nor the founder. It was Andretta Tillman who died from Lupus. Originally Tamar Davis (prodigy of Prince) was the original lead of then Girls Tyme. Had Tamar and her sisters parents not decided to take them out of the group when they were first signed it could have been a whole different story. Or not, because in the end Matthew ended up taking over as manager.

Funny thing about 3LW: they were molded by other artists, image wise. Keiley was trying to be Aaliyah/Beyonce/Eve hybrid😑. Beyonce because she was the leader of the group. Eve, because she was a 'rapper.' And Aaliyah for her style. Which btw she copied her swag alot. And Its so noticeable by their old videos & performances. Adrienne was the Jlo/ Chili of the group. She was the curly hair Latina from New York, and was considered the 'sexy' member. And Naturi was 'Kelly Rowland/Mary J Bligne'. Kelly for her style, Mary for her great soulful voice.
Remember what they said about being the little D. C. sort of how Voices (and which is funny Tia and Tamara were part of that group) back in the day was like the little Envogue. The thing is that Kiely wanted to be lead, but I think Naturi and Adrienne ended up being the more popular of the group.

I love this interview and it's crazy how they explained what they believe what they will do in the future and Naturi is winning now, Adrienne is doing the Real, and Keily is struggling to make it.
Their harmony at the beginning was candy to my earsssss. Loooove 'em all. Wish the drama wasn't there and they'd still be reigning supreme on the charts with other competitors of their time (Isyss, TLC, Destiny's Child, Lyric, etc.)

I wasn't into 3LW. However, I remember when the group broke up and the circumtances behind it. I also recall an intervew with Sister 2 Sister. Naturi has always been consistent when she spoke about her experience in the group. I am happy for her success, she deserves it. When life gives you lemons... I never cared for Kiely. The girl oozes negative energy. What you put out you damn sure fet back!
I never heard of 3LW before The Real when Adrienne started sharing about it. I did grow up watching the Cheetah Girls movies and I always thought Kiely was the lamest character in and out of filming. Watching this today made me realize how nasty she really was. Granted, she was just a kid at 15, and very immature, but you can tell she was presumptuous and conceited and not very fun to work with, i imagine. Specially with mommy dearest being the manager... Also, I love that I got to see all her broken "promithes promithes"
