Nice. How does it ride on the highway above 60-70mph compared to stock? And how is it on the more spirited drives on bumpy gravel backroads? ( I know it's not a Baja truck ;) ). I'll be getting a new suspension soon, but unfortunatelly there are not many reviews like yours about other brands, so it's a bit hard to compare.
Having new suspension was night and day for me. Mine was very squishy and tired after 140k miles. I notice the difference less on the interstate. It's smooth at 60-70 mph. Where it shines is going over potholes and speed bumps. The new suspension absorbs bounces much more gracefully. Gravel roads is the same. I'm usually weighed down with camping gear so having the extra clearance and shock absorption is noticeable on gravel roads. You'll be happy you got new suspension for sure.
I went with the medium. My roof top tent is ~100 lbs. and my camping gear is around ~100 lbs. Ironman rates the medium at 0-400 additional lbs. So far it's been great for my purposes. The motorcycle carrier is around 70 lbs and the dirt bike is 230 lbs. These springs handled that well.
@@theninja001 flex on the front is comparable. The back end got really stiff and will need weight to offset. Easy thing to do if you’re building an overlander.
I got 3" front and 2" rear with raid metal bumper on my 4runner. Does yours ride stiff/firm or plush like stock? Mine are firm, very firm. Highway are better more planted solid feel but still firmer than stock
I want new front and rear bumpers for the Cruiser! The ride is definitely firm compared to stock. I wouldn't say very firm, but I did notice a difference after installing the kit. My suspension was old and tired with approximately 140k miles on the original shocks and springs. So I have a feeling my setup was more squishy than it should have been.
can this fit to the lc100/lx470 from the japanese market? the difference is just being “right hand drive.” i guess the mounts for the suspension on the left and right hand drive are the same
Thanks for the post, thinking of doing the same for my 2000.
I think you'll be happy with it. The suspension is getting tired on these 20 year old vehicles.

@@goatsinapond Perfect, thanks a lot!
Thanks for the video! Did you get the medium, heavy or extra heavy set up?

Awesome, thank you!
@@goatsinapond Ended going for it and got the extra heavy full kit for my 2000 LC. Could not be happier with the results!

I don’t see why not. The Australian Land Cruiser is right hand drive and the Iron Man kit fits those vehicles.
Nice!
Thanks brotha!
1.5 inch or 2.5 inch lift? or more?
They advertise it as a 2” lift. I got just over 2” in the rear and about 1.5” in the front.
@@goatsinapond appreciate the feedback !
