      these were ordered to fish the river tyne late on in the season

    Hello! I recently stole this video. I have a few questions:
    1) what hook and size is best for this fly?
    2) When I tested this fly in the river, it seemed completely lifeless to me. How should she swim? I used 0.35mm mono.

      hook would depend on size of fly i would be using a treble hook usually owner, but in the back end of the season the regulations here are to use single hooks then i use a kamasan b980 i think it is the different pieces and speeds of current that provide the movement so looking at the fly up close is not a true representation of how it will swim in the middle of the river, personally where i fish i tend to use plastic tubes with cone heads instead of all metal tubes these flies were tied for a customer fishing a deeper larger river
