Billys mom had the prettiest colour wool, black/grey and smoke all mixed, glorious!. The really woolly one must have been so relieved to get rid of all that weight, she looked so happy afterwards 😊
That young lady who works fro you when she is not at uni is absolutely a dear. when you get her to assist on video ie pass you the inserts to promote pregnancy, she try's so hard not to look at the camera, fails and looks up then gets so embarrassed. Adorable. I listen when you give her high praise so it is is obvious you think . very highly of her and how she works with you. I really think that you should give extreme thought to employing her when she graduates. you are a very good team.

Awww. I used to love when my dad sheared. His rough calloused hands would be so soft afterwards! ❤ Now I will wipe my tears and watch the rest of the video.😊
Switching hands is unique. I think because my mom was left handed I switch hands with most things. Yes, even brushing my teeth and putting on eye makeup. Oh, and ironing clothes too.
Why is watching sheep shearing so satisfying? Thank you so much Sandy for sharing so much of your life. The sheep sound like they are revolting against you for not feeding them. 😂
I think the idea to color code the sheep by how many babies she is carrying, has really helped lessen the amount of ewes you have to do an internal exam on during lambing. :)
Not quite - she still checks anyway (and has gotten upset at Jess for not checking in fact, and herself more than once). The idea of shearing when she does isn’t to reduce internal exams - it’s so that the nearly blind newborn lambies have clear access to the teats to nurse, and to keep backsides area more sanitary during labour delivery and finally so their undersides are cleaner for the babies who don’t got an immune system yet and are particularly vulnerable to pathogens like bacteria and viruses that usually get trapped in belly wool etc.
I loved this one the most I think Sandi. Your smile is so beautiful, I love you hair here. Your lambs are growing so fast. Ive only been here about a month. Learning so much. Thanks for sharing so much

Am I the only one that finds sheep shearing mesmerizing? Love watching your channel Sandi! I found you just a short while ago and can't stop watching. I'm a 35 yr old previous farm girl in Alberta and I've been thinking of going back home to the farm to take over/start a cattle operation on my dad's old homestead for the last 2 years. I'm getting lots of ideas from your channel and definitely want to treat the cattle operation like a business! Hoping that my partner and I can take that leap in the coming year. Thanks for being "ewe"! ;) And keep up the wonderful videos: even the hard and ugly days. As we all need to see what it really is like in agriculture. It's not always roses and good sunny days.

Seeing Billie’s mom again got me wondering, are sheep colorings classified similarly to those used on horses (or other domesticated hoofed animals)? In the horse world, Billie’s mom would be close to a Blue Roan. Black base coat with white hairs sprinkled throughout the body but still maintain the black coat on the head and “points”. Very beautiful. She needs a name at one point.

Hi again SANDI Charlie is one of the best I've seen in a while. He does such a good job and so fast! Very impressive to be able to switch hands. Happy for you you have him!
The new twins are cute ☺️! Charlie makes shearing look like magic😁! It can’t be easy😳! Does anyone feel like time is just flying by really fast 🕊? Thank you for the updates and sharing, Sandy🤗💗!
I was really impressed to see that there weren't a FLOOD of comments of people screaming about 'he's being so rough with them!' I've watched a lot of shearing videos and have never personally done it, and it is a very labor-intensive profession that requires a lot of skill to keep the wool and the sheep safe and controlled. Well done! Happy naked mamas!
In all honesty the firmness of handling the sheep is an experience thing - too soft and slow and it is almost like tickling them and they sense they can get away if they jump, squirm and struggle enough. Too much and it can be almost brutal and can result in injuries to the animal and person, about right and they realize they cannot escape and basically give in to being sheared. If they start to struggle then applying extra pressure to their bodies at the correct location / place temporarily they often give up and lie there pretty quietly. It is also worth noting that the sheep's size, breed and age will also have an influence as well how used they are to being handled and worked with in close quarters. Small mountain breeds are the most awkward and least compliant whereas larger Downland breeds are easier.
I missed the lambs in the feeder until you mentioned it. 😂 Then in her next clip with the bottle for the new twins, there were a total of 5 in the feeder. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He is so talented and gets through each lamb quickly. This is someone you need to have at this time. It was fascinating watch. I'm from England and have never seen anything like this. Take care and stay safe everyone x
I cannot tell you how much I LOVE watching Charlie shear!! It’s so fascinating, and you can tell he’s really gentle with the sheep. If he had his own UA-cam channel, I’d definitely be one of the first subscribers!
Watching sheep shearing has always fascinated me (born and bred in the burbs), but Charlie's ambidextrous technique is even more fascinating. And the sheep aren't stressed at all when he's done. He sure is a great sheerer.
Sandi, if you want to adjust the headers, you can always contact the software developer and tell them what you need. Most are happy to help with that. Also, you can export to an online spreadsheet and it will unlock it for you, then you can adjust it and download it back to your file system. Or at least that's what I do when I can't figure out a work around. Hope that helps! Love watching the shearing! Thank you for sharing ❤
Billy’s mom is beautiful! What breed of sheep has so much wool but her head is smooth. She’s wearing a huge wool coat! Her face is so pretty!❤️ Love watching Charlie shear sheep!
I could honestly watch sheep shearing all day long. So satisfying. I love watching shearing competitions and such, but sadly I'm hella allergic to sheep wool so i can only ever watch via videos. Still amazing to watch. Charlies two hand technique is quite impressive.
It would be a fun crossover to see Cammie come over and shear your sheep. Every time I watch these shearing vids, I have to go get my spinning wheel going! 😁
Actually, the sheep look very relaxed as they are getting clipped!!! A SPA 🧖♀️ MOMENT?!? Love you Sandi!! Keep up the good work!!! ❤️🧖♀️🤩❤️🧖♀️🤩🐑🐑🐑🤩🧖♀️❤️🤩🧖♀️❤️

Thank you Charlie, for not being camera shy and letting us watch!
I love watching them get a hair cut
Thank you Sandi, from a fellow shearer, for having the sheep’s bellies empty and for the clean area for shearing with TWO sheets of plywood.
i love watching sheep shearing. It is so satisfying watching all the wool come off in 1-2 pieces. And he does it so well and fast too! Its amazing to be honest.

Charlie must have the softest hands with all that lanolin in sheep wool. Thanks Charlie, I love watching your ballet

that black wool is so gorgeous. I think that lamb was thinking "Charlie darlin', please don't t-bag me!!!"

I love watching Charlie sheer the sheep🐑. He has mad skills. I could watch him all day. That looks like a very hard job.
i don't think i have ever seen anyone swoop hands like that Charlie is a very clever chap.
He shears both left and right handed
Your dog cracks me up running and jumping all over the barn!
Just watching and @13:23 just the two lambs hanging out in the feeder as she walks by.. made me just start laughing
Thank you for sharing the shearing, it always reminds me of my first day in basic training. Lol
Charlie is really awesome,,,he’s a keeper💕 I love watching you and your sheep 🐑
I cannot tell you how much I LOVE watching Charlie shear!! It’s so fascinating, and you can tell he’s really gentle with the sheep. If he had his own UA-cam channel, I’d definitely be one of the first subscribers!
Check out Right Choice Shearing on UA-cam.
Billy's mom is so beautiful! You know that sheering has to feel good. Thanks for sharing.
Watching sheep shearing has always fascinated me (born and bred in the burbs), but Charlie's ambidextrous technique is even more fascinating. And the sheep aren't stressed at all when he's done. He sure is a great sheerer.
To see Charlie just trim that fleece off like it was butter, is such a treat. Thank you and well done.
Y'all do a beautiful job and Charlie is amazing at getting the fur.... Love it
Sandi, if you want to adjust the headers, you can always contact the software developer and tell them what you need.
Billy's mom would make a beautiful colored yarn spun up!! Droooool! :-)
Billy’s mom is beautiful! What breed of sheep has so much wool but her head is smooth. She’s wearing a huge wool coat! Her face is so pretty!❤️ Love watching Charlie shear sheep!
"Caption This": I see London I see France, I see the back of Charlie's pants!😅
For a non native speaker who hears this one for the first time, that was hilarious 🤣
Calm down Stepha no plumbers crack Hahahaha! Charlie looks great😉
Pooo stink!
Shame shame.
Never get tired of shearing videos. Its a bit mesmerizing. Also spring days on your farm are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Billy's mama kinda looks like she has a roan pattern like you can see in horses and goats. Wonder if sheep can have it too?
I could honestly watch sheep shearing all day long. So satisfying. I love watching shearing competitions and such, but sadly I'm hella allergic to sheep wool so i can only ever watch via videos. Still amazing to watch. Charlies two hand technique is quite impressive.
I’m a spinner and knitter and I am lusting after that dark wool!

My dad was a shearing contractor so I have been in a lot of shearing sheds...you Charlie is an excellent shearer Congratulations
It would be a fun crossover to see Cammie come over and shear your sheep. Every time I watch these shearing vids, I have to go get my spinning wheel going! 😁
Charlie is the bestest! I can watch these videos every time! I love the before and afters! ❤️💕
Ewes not fat! Ewes fluffy!
Charlie is ambidextrous. I am too. It’s definitely a plus skill!
That doggo was so excited! I loved it..
Wow that is a lot of wool, Billy's mum looks so pretty after her new makeover ❤
