Trailblazers: Into the March is a roguelite colony-sim that integrates tactical combat with the emotional journey of procedural characters. Before setting off, you will purchase and customize your Landship, recruit crew members with their own backgrounds and skills, trade supplies and materials, and take on contracts. Once you venture into the March, you must manage your crew's daily lives, witness their evolving relationships and stories, and defend your moving home in tactical landship battles as you explore the vast uncharted territories.

I absolutely love your art style! It has like the feel of high tech while somehow also ancient tech. All the outfits, character designs, machine designs... they all look so good! You and the team working on this game should be so proud!

Love the tonal shift through the trailer and the voice acting gives a lot of life. I have an impression of this being inspired from FTL
That FTL inspiration is stone certain. No way these guys haven’t played it and are riffing off of it (in a good way, promise). This looks excellent and I’m very excited for something this lovely to scratch that FTL itch!

What the heck is this hidden gem of a game
The visual design and general vibe of the game works so well, and then you have this super interesting siege combat with fortresses, it looks so cool! A roguelite that has the substance of a single player campaign, can't wait to try this out!

Dude this feels like FTL game-play meets Hades storytelling, and I'm totally ready to give this a shot!! Already added to my wish list, gonna keep an eye on this one.
Only concern is that crew size looks massive, imagine that's gonna make it hard to in-depth character story telling with such a large roster and I hope it doesn't become overly complicated in managing the land-ship.

Hello ! I am the Game's Artist ! Thank you for your comment ! I have a ton of inspirations for the game, the big/obvious ones are Moebius/Zelda/Ghibli etc.. For the Characters portraits my main inspirations are the awesome design by Jen Zee for Hades but also the amazing work of Callum Alexander Watt !

The art direction reminds me of Moebius' work. Just like from the game Sable and the animated series called Scavengers Reign.
I only can dream of reaching Scavenger's dream creativity level. This show was gorgeous and hypnotizing. So many cool design ideas laying there... Wish we could do it all.

@@arnaud.strangerlike 1:13 into the video top left corner it’s looks like during the management gameplay any npcs armed with weapons walk around aiming them, just feels weird to me if they’re not in combat

I don't know about the gameplay, but the art here is incredibly well done.
Excellent character design and as a fan of the Great Moebius, Alfons Mukha and Miyazaki Hayao, I like their styles mix here and a Nausicaa vibe, it is so charming. But the game art itself and the interfaces need some imperfect and textured approach, just a bit, at least I think so. The sound of the trailer is excellent too, btw, I like voices and music.
Yea I agree. I'm the one responsible for the UI. But I'm not a great UI artist. We're gonna take someone better than me if we can when we've secured the general shape of things.
