I grew up with gas in our home. I hated cooking on electric cooktops. So slow to reach even temp. When I purchased my home it was a must to have gas. No waiting for heat up once its on. Food cooks evenly. It just tastes better as far as quality of food. Plus you can have tea in minutes vs so much time for water to heat on stove.
Omg I was dying with your first time using the gas stove. It took me FOREVERRRR to master using an Electric stove. I STAND for Gas. I grew up and always had a gas stove until recently when we moved i am not a fan of Electric. Y’all are HILARIOUS!! I love how y’all hype each other!!
Gurllll now I want some pancakes 🥞..lol. send me a plate!! We love breakfast for dinner! I guess you call it brinner...lol great video! Guys that kitchen is sooo nice!
Pancakes look delicious! Glad you guys are enjoying your gas stove. I grew up with one and I miss it so much. It was easier to control temperatures and have desired outcomes. I hate cooking with electric or induction.
My 1st experience with a gas stove, I was terrified but I love gas now. Oh yes at my house it's all paper plates I don't like washing more dishes than I have to
I grew up on a Really Nice Electric and moved to a place with Gas, and I really didn't see much improvement, yes it was more responsive, but the 5000btu burner felt like using a 3000btu electric burner. I bought a plugin Induction hotplate for $150 and it does a better job than any gas or electric burner I have used. My issue with gas is that it is really poor at bulk cooking, because most of the heat is lost to the room and doesn't hit your food. So while gas is excellent for short order cooking like a restaurant, for bulk cooking, I preferred Electric. Although now that I have access to new Induction, Both Electric and Gas seem obsolete.
Thank you, this is my first time cooking with a gas stove and thanks, light it up first and then turn the knob I tried cooking a grill cheese and it wouldn’t light up but I smelt gas and got nervous. But thanks!
Try conala oil instead of butter in the pan, put the butter on the pancakes when done, crack eggs with a fork in bowl just in case you get a bad egg or shells, and pure maple syrup is better for you. And your refer didn't come with the house? With gas you can always cook, when the power is off or out 👍🙏
Good to know! I used to cook eggs like that too! Unfortunately no it didn’t. It should be here in April though! That is definitely a plus to having gas! 🙌🏽
Lol yeah you gotta let the clicking go then it comes on now if it don’t ignite you gotta light the pilot with a lighter lol that’s the part I was always scared to do. But y’all will love the gas stove way better than electric
I tried cooking an omelette on our new gas stove today and that thing was brownnnn 😂 I think the cooking setting has to be on the lowest LOWEST or something. With our old electric boy, I only had a problem flipping it but now I got way more problems smh
Breakfast for dinner. Funny video I'm glad that you figure out how to work the stove. I don't understand the 3 kinds of oils but the pancakes looked good. I hope that you don't burn the house down trying to bar-b-que. 😂
#breakfastfordinner I crack my eggs on the counter with a napkin under neath it so the counter don’t get dirty. I like dry eggs and gotta have cheese on it. I use Agave nectar on my pancakes and love it.
Yess! I knew I wasn’t only one who cracked on the counter lol! I’ll try the napkin technique. Yep dry eggs and cheese 👌. I never heard of the agave might have to have Quincy try it lol. Thanks for watching!
This is so funny but necessary because my new build will be gas too and I’ve never had a gas range… thanks for posting…. 😂😂🥰🥰
lol glad we’re not the only ones!!

Lol glad we weren’t the only ones!
Ps ,put a little regular milk in the eggs, it makes them little fluffy, pan & counter is 100% messier 👍
Funny I used to do that a long time ago and stopped! Definitely need to start back up!

If your pan is nonstick you don't have to put oil or butter when you make pancakes so it can come out perfectly brown
Then just put the butter after it's done
Thanks for the tips!
I’ll always crack on the counter lol and I cook a lot.
See I knew I wasn’t the only one!! Lol
Oh lawd😂😂😂🥴🥴🥴
Lol don’t judge us 😂😂
I was terrified when they started the gas the first time.
Haha so were we
I tried cooking an omelette on our new gas stove today and that thing was brownnnn 😂 I think the cooking setting has to be on the lowest LOWEST or something. With our old electric boy, I only had a problem flipping it but now I got way more problems smh
😂😂 it definitely cooks faster for sure!
