Today's video is dedicated to a burning topic, the entrance exam for the BBE English taught bachelors programme at the Vienna University of Economics and Business aka WU Vienna aka WU Wien. My friend Benjamin Schemel and I talked for over 20 minutes covering the best practices as well as tips and tricks regarding the preparation for the BBE Entrance exam. For maths you mention that when doing the Matura past papers we should focus on part 1 so is paper 2 of any importance
Hello, I have a question. Is it harder to get into the English or German program, bzw. in the field of business and economics or business, economics, and social sciences? I also tried to find the materials mentioned in the video, but I only found materials related to the law program. Can older materials be found somewhere, and is it worth studying from them?

Hey there, great talk! Only thing I was wondering, which you talked about...in the srdp questions, there's always something like "which answer is true?" or "which two answers are true" and that's how one can distinguish the multiple/one only answers. You said it's not like that in the EE, did I catch that right? Are these questions combined like "what is/are the right answer/s?"
The entrance exam will be multiple choice where either one or up to four answers are correct.
On srdp.at, they sometimes give you the amount of correct answers.
This will not be the case for the EE.

Is there a time limit on the whole test? And also if you are not admitted first, is there a chance to still get in WU because some people will pop out?
Of course there is a time limit. And no chance, over 1500 people are writing the exam. The first 240 get accepted and thats it.
Thank you for your answer but I mean for example i go there im in the top 240 but i change plans and study somewhere else. Is my place available for example for the top 241th person or then the class will consist of one less person?
If you decide not to start at WU despite being among the top 240 students, the 241st student will take your place.

Do you know any German? Also, is it ok to go to wu withou any knowledge of German?
Hey! Yes, speak German fluently (more-less). If you´re planning on enrolling in a German taught course on WU you will need to possess the C1 German knowledge level.
@@jacobshustle403 I was talking about the English thought program, bbe, and I wanted to ask if it is ok to come to Vienna without any knowledge of German from a social ponit of view. Do bbe students mostly use German or English during their free time? Thank you in advance.
Horia Stefan You DO need to know german, at least if you want a Student Visa, for ex:)
So if I want to practice maths on the srdp website I‘ll only have to look into the Type 1 tasks? Are the type 2 ones not necessary?

Do you know what's the total score for the entrance exam?
If I remember correctly, it was 90 questions each weighted with 1 point. The 240 top-scorers will have a guaranteed space in the programme.
