In this video, I'm going to unbox the greatest collection of Friday the 13th films ever manufactured. That's right, I'll be checking out the Friday the 13th Collection Deluxe Edition from Scream Factory (Shout! Factory).
Let me tell you, these movies are absolutely loaded with special features, and they look absolutely unreal on Bluray. So far, I've watched Part 2, but I'll be doing a marathon of all of them very soon. The experience was insane, to say the least. I could see things that I'd never really gotten to see before.

Best part about this box set, it isn't limited! I had mine shipped and arrived to me in September 2020. Almost two years ago. I would LOVE if Scream Factory could get the rights to Hellraiser films so that we get every movie with special features and commentaries; including Kevin Yagher's original 6 cuts of Hellraiser Bloodlines. As well as Hellraisers Inferno, Hellworld, Revelations and Judgement all with the screenplays as features (basically the same treatment as this box set, and then some).
I am a huge fan of the Alien and The Predator franchises too. They were my favorite growing up.

I have this Friday the 13th 16-disc Blu-ray disc set (2020). I also have the Halloween 10-disc Blu-ray boxed set (2014), Halloween 6 - The Producer's Cut on Blu-ray and all of each and every single Dept. 56 Christmas item that exists and ever existed.

So the newer stock of this box set DOES include the replacement discs?? Awesome!! I got a box set that still has the wrong discs for 3, 9 & 10.
Yep. Mine came with the replacement disks, thankfully!

I have a 3D TV so I’ve seen F13th Part 3 in Blu ray 3D and it looks great.

@@TalkHorror I heard from the commentary, the opening of Friday the 13th Part 2, Jason was played by the films Costume's Designer Ellen Lutter. This was the only time Jason was played by a woman.

I have this Friday the 13th 16-disk Blu-ray boxed set, the Halloween 10-disk Blu-ray boxed set and Halloween 6: The Producers cut on Blu-ray. I also have all of and each and every single Department 56 Christmas item that exists and ever existed. I was born on 1/21/1973 and I always skinny-dip whenever I swim. I always swim in the nude, I never swim with anything on. I've never swam with anything on in my whole entire life and I never will. I don't know what it's like to swim with anything on and I'll never find out. I will always swim in the nude for the rest of my life whenever I'll swim, always, forever and all throughout eternity.
I would definitely get that box set.

You know what call me strange I would be 100% glad those three movies got messed up and the replacement discs are in that. I think it adds more of that special feeling to the box set knowing that no other box set has done this. If anyone sees it from my point of view. Quite rare right..
It is, and is very commendable on Scream Factory's part. It's almost getting one of those rare NECA figures or something that has a misprint, lol

I'm writing that i have the 2020 16 discs Friday the 13th bluray boxset. my favorite part of this Friday the 13th bluray boxset is that there are 22 audio commentaries. Friday the 13th unrated version has one audio commentary. Friday the 13th part 2 has two audio commentaries. Friday the 13th part 3 has one audio commentary. Friday the 13th part 4 has two audio commentaries. Friday the 13th part 5 has three audio commentaries. Friday the 13th part 6 has four audio commentaries. Friday the 13th part 7 has two audio commentaries. Friday the 13th part 8 has two audio commentaries. Jason Goes to Hell unrated version has two audio commentaries. Freddy VS Jason has one audio commentary. Jason X has two audio commentaries. best Friday the 13th bluray boxset ever.
I have the collection dvd that came with a Jason mask in the box. I was looking that Amazon still have in stock this one you reviewed, but i don't know if i should buy it because i remember when it was released there were problems with some of the disc and that a replacement program was in effect back then, but not anymore. Have anyone purchased this from Amazon, are the disc revised or fixed?

Doesn't come with 3D Glasses?
Nope. It does come with a 3D version of Part 3, but you have to have one of those 3D capable tvs and a 3D capable blu-ray player. If you want a version with the oldschool 3D and the blue/red 3D glasses, you can pick up this version >> amzn.to/3ZE3ID2

Been tempted to get this set, but I always know there will be another sooner or later, Hell were almost to the 50th...You know they put a set out then too! Ahhh! I can get by with my little Steel Case Blu-Ray Set ...I am cheap
Oh, absolutely. Some of these franchises and films get absolutely hammered with the amount of “editions” coming out. Hell, how many releases have we seen of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre?
Still, I feel like this was the box set to get, especially with all of the special features. I’d rather enjoy it now, even though I know it’s certainly not the last, especially with tech developing as quick at it does. Shit, there’ll be a 4K UHD edition, then 8k, 12k, etc… I just don’t look forward to when you can’t get anything physically anymore, and it all becomes digital.

@TalkHorror *Update* so they came today about 30 mins ago good news and bad news so they didn't come with the replacement disc but good news they are already in the box set bc they have the "R1" at the end of them which is awesome and I like timeline order so I swooped jason x and freddy vs jason since it takes place after jason goes to hell
